Why did you not move then? it ended up 6-5 with you on Bonardrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 1:57 amI am starting to feel Bona might be town. It's so convoluted I can't see it happening with scum day chat.
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
But having Bona flip town or scum would not have the same effect on Durga?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 1:59 amI feel changing now will just make Bona a wagon again tomorrow.
This is some odd ass reasoning
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
Im pretty convinced both Kgray and Celaph are town. Still have minor doubts about his super-happy tone which is reminiscent of his game as alien, but his recent long wall-posts were at least a lot closer to his very first towngame.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:18 am@Celaph: You were right about Bozo. Kudos. If you're town, one of Durga/Kgray/Vecna must be scum. Which do you think it is?
@Kgray: Is Durga still a scumread for you?
@Durga: If you are town, which of Celaph, Kgray, or Vecna do you now think is scum?
@Vecna: If you are town, which of Celaph, Kgray, or Durga do you now think is scum?

Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I thought I might be the scum kill. Nobody was scumreading me and I am on group B.
I was right about Bozo. I explained to Kgray why I am suspicious of you. In fact, right now I I am also suspicious of Kgray. His quick Durga vote without considering how Bozo flip could change things isn't something I expect from her.
Jamiet is back on my radar too, like you pointed, but this isn't for today. For me today is between you, Durga and Kgray.

lol, such a towny response to the flip.lfischl wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:23 amI do have to question Barry bonds being the mafia but nice shot vig.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:07 amAs the season winds on, the clubhouse slowly transitions from a safe space to one of suspicions. No longer to players hang around after games, they furtively scurry away, sneaking peaks at who may be hiding what. Then one afternoon, the tidal wave of tension burst. "Who left these needles here?!" Shouts the starting pitcher. "Who is doping on MY team?! You could cost us our reputations! There's a Senate investigation, and unlike *you* assholes, *I* still have a chance at the Hall of Fame!!"
As the star goes tearing through the clubhouse, he finds the stash. Needles, bottles, drugs...the works. The team rounds on Bonatogether, the rookie with numbers too good to be true; it's all in his locker. "Hey guys, it's not what you think...those are perscriptions..."
"THEN WHY NOT TAKE THEM!"
Before Bona can blink, two players grab his arms, and the starter pumps him full of the drugs. "Guys...no...please...it's insulin..." But the damage is done, and Bona passes into a coma, never to recover.
After a quick investigation, the starting pitcher is cleared of all wrong doing. The two accomplices are stuck taking the heat for the "clubhouse hazing". Maniac and bozo had lived up to their names, and are sent to the penitentiary leagues. Maniac never makes it there, his former teammate blames him for the change in their fates. Maniac "slips and falls" on bozo's knife multiple times. Not wanting a trouble maker, the jailers arrange for bozo to fall on the knife as well.
Bonatogether has died he was CAL RIPKEN JR. a VANILLA TOWN
Maniac has died he was DEREK JETER a VANILLA TOWN
bozotheclown has died he was BARRY BONDS a MAFIA GOON
DAY 3 HAS BEGUN. YOU MAY NOW POST.
Which scum (having seen the flavours in their QT) would respond like this?

Just bus Durga alreadyrdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:23 amIt's pretty obvious we should vote in the first pool. I am torn between Durga and Vecna. I want to do some re-read tomorrow before voting.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:16 am8 players remain

0 - 1 scum may be in the pool of Dargorygel / Jamiet99uk / lfischl / Rdrivera2005.
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
Youre probably going to have to reevaluate here for a bit.lfischl wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:26 amTo be honest I have townreads on everyone in the second group+celaph. Why are you townreading Darg and Rdrivera?
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
It can stay hidden for now. Proper reveal conditions are after the 2nd scum is dead and before mylo/lylo.kgray wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:42 amBetter to have a clear later in the game, so why put a target on their back now?
Probably tomorrow.
Unless the vig is very comfortable in their softs and are convinced they can win a potential cc battle in the endgame, then its fine to just stay hidden untill theyre at risk of getting voted.
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
Im going to be really salty with myself if I was correct on Jamiet again D1, and he managed to blabbermouth his way out of my suspicion again lol.kgray wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:57 amOkay this is actually really helpful, thanks brain!Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:16 am8 players remain

I'm feeling very, very good about celaph, and very good about Vecna. I don't think he'd call out his teammate bozo like he did, and I think Durga's interactions with bozo are really scummy. So I think Durga is scum, and for Vecna to be scum he'd have to be bussing/scumreading both his teammates and that seems really unlikely in this game.
So I'm reasonably confident the final scum is in darg/Jamie/lfischl/Rivera.
Town to scum on them is probably something like: darg < Jamie < lfischl < Rivera? But I sort of townread all of them tbh
Doubt thats what happened, since he's not doing any of that "look at me being towny, yo-yo-yo" stuff though
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
And (assuming Durga is scum) why would I prop up Bozo to be the counter-wagon to Durga in the first place?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 3:02 amBecause the way he jumped from Bozo to Damo on D1.kgray wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:38 amWhy Vecna?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:23 am
It's pretty obvious we should vote in the first pool. I am torn between Durga and Vecna. I want to do some re-read tomorrow before voting.
We have just one miskill left, we need to get it right today.
My vote was absolutely critical in letting that get momentum and I stayed on it for a long time letting it build.
This really does not show very critical thinking, and just smells like youre trying to find reasons to go along with a scumread

Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I concur, I agree, and I'm in agreement.
What should be happening today is:
1. Vig should not claim.
2. We vote in the pool of Durga / Kgray / Vecna / Celaph
3. If, and only if, it turns out the Vig is in that pool and they become the top wagon, then they can claim if they need to.
4. ???
5. Profit!

There have to be the same number of "quote" markers higher up as "/quote" markers lower down. If you delete a "quote" from the top, it messes it all up.

Does the record appear to show that Bozo was online at EoD either day?
(I haven't checked yet).

He said he was going to make a role claim.
He softed Vigilante.
Then, with 15 minutes to go, he revealed a VT breadcrumb based on morse code in his D1 posts.

Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I deliberately tied it to force Celaph to vote in Group 1.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 9:42 amThe level of mental gymnastics that must go on in your brain Jamiet.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 12:45 amIt means I could ##Vote Bona.
Now it's tied and Celaph is the only person not on a Group 1 wagon.
Scumread Durga? Check
Scumread Kgray? Check
Viable Durga wagon? Check
Sheep Kgray onto Bona? Obviously
