As the season winds on, the clubhouse slowly transitions from a safe space to one of suspicions. No longer to players hang around after games, they furtively scurry away, sneaking peaks at who may be hiding what. Then one afternoon, the tidal wave of tension burst. "Who left these needles here?!" Shouts the starting pitcher. "Who is doping on MY team?! You could cost us our reputations! There's a Senate investigation, and unlike *you* assholes, *I* still have a chance at the Hall of Fame!!"

As the star goes tearing through the clubhouse, he finds the stash. Needles, bottles, drugs...the works. The team rounds on Bonatogether, the rookie with numbers too good to be true; it's all in his locker. "Hey guys, it's not what you think...those are perscriptions..."

"THEN WHY NOT TAKE THEM!"

Before Bona can blink, two players grab his arms, and the starter pumps him full of the drugs. "Guys...no...please...it's insulin..." But the damage is done, and Bona passes into a coma, never to recover.

After a quick investigation, the starting pitcher is cleared of all wrong doing. The two accomplices are stuck taking the heat for the "clubhouse hazing". Maniac and bozo had lived up to their names, and are sent to the penitentiary leagues. Maniac never makes it there, his former teammate blames him for the change in their fates. Maniac "slips and falls" on bozo's knife multiple times. Not wanting a trouble maker, the jailers arrange for bozo to fall on the knife as well.
