More helpful for town.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:13 pmI would really like to know *what* it is about his posts that you find townier. Are they more helpful? Funnier? More open? More solvey?
Also I think lfischl is either town or scum with Vecna.

Why would it not?Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:51 pmIf it would work...Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:02 pmThis is quite a good idea too, Bozo.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 3:24 pmAnother possibility is to divide the 12 remaining players into 2 groups of 6, and ask "are there more scum in group 1 than group 2". This could solve the game late in the game when 1 or 2 scum have been found and we are down to a few players. For instance, if we found 1 scum in the group with less scum, all remaining players in that group would be cleared.
I like this. Good work.

Notice how he did not account for the option of me being scum trying to kill jamiet.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:13 pmI would really like to know *what* it is about his posts that you find townier. Are they more helpful? Funnier? More open? More solvey?

Potential case of classic slip of the tongue knowing im town. Either defending scummate jamiet or whiteknighting him
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I ignored it because I thought it was useless to vote him. I think he's town.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:22 pmNotice how he did not account for the option of me being scum trying to kill jamiet.

The role description has a number of limitations, including "the gm's discretion" and readslists.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:19 pmWhy would it not?Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:51 pmIf it would work...Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:02 pm
This is quite a good idea too, Bozo.

Why would you want us to ignore this? Do you not think Vecna's votes are relevant or can be used to read him?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:19 pmWhy would it not?Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:51 pmIf it would work...Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:02 pm

You could be scum and still have nobody listening to you. I don't think his post automatically assumes you're town.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:22 pmNotice how he did not account for the option of me being scum trying to kill jamiet.

Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
How does this address your concern that he slipped knowledge that you're town?

rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:41 pmI like this idea as QA could rearrange the groups while he is still alive. It could become even better if we catch one scum as if one group have more scum it means the remaining two scum are there. Depending on the size of the group it's autowin.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:02 pmThis is quite a good idea too, Bozo.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 3:24 pm
I agree damo's suggestion is better than using the Asker as a cop.
Another possibility is to divide the 12 remaining players into 2 groups of 6, and ask "are there more scum in group 1 than group 2". Using it as a cop have a big chance to return an inno that will just be next Mafia kill. Maybe it works if QA is alive until the end.
