The GM team, including Dargorygel, in the previous iteration 'Mafia 64' disqualified my initial sign up on the basis that my sign up name did not match my webDip name. Yet in 'Mafia 65' the GM team, including Dargorygel, has allowed such sign ups as 'Brain 'Tourettes' Fbomb', 'Donny Dude the camper' and 'V(squawk)ecna' to stand, despite these arguably bearing less connection to the intended referents than my sign up name of 'seren' did given that my webDip profile clearly writes that I go by the name of 'seren'.

Clearly this reveals a deep-seated xenophobia on the part of mafia GMs against new players. As a community we must not stand for such indignities

At first, I thought this was just drama.

Then I thought more and realized this is entirely correct...

The two games are only similar in that in both games the player necessitates their view of the game. But sibjectively mafia do not want anyone to have a coherent or accurate view of anything. and town doesnt always play collectively as if they care about opinions. for example town players who lurk are effectively surrendering their ability to be heard and respected.

The only other way the games are alike is that swindling people is arousing to some. and the art of swindling a solo is a similar rush to winning as scum in F3 in a long drawn out game that took tremendous energy.

big talking scum is a death warrant on webdip. I was impressed at bona and bob last game for posting over 100 times day 1 as scum but there was just so many moments by both where I pointed out fallacies and abnormality,. Ultimately had we been playing a vanilla game I assume mafia wouldve had to deal with my persistent pushes on bona. but maybe im just delusional on that

I don't find the answer of "two" compelling, but one can argue it.
