It depends what it is on, it could be larger or smaller than a bigger or smaller bug, although it has no volume, so we're talking area here.

Depends on the resolution of your image, but if it was too small then it would be hard to see what it was.

It is not added on via heat, but pressure.

If anything conceptual? It's mostly just not there and then you use something to put it on, and then it is there.
