Dana woke up in a cold sweat. She looked around. The unfamiliar room felt oppressive.

"Fox? FOX!"

Mulder hurried into the room.

"Dana, what's the matter?"

"Doggett and Skinner. Where did they go? Fox? They were here a moment ago."

He chuckled and put a hand on her shoulder.

"You're groggy, Dana. You were tired so you took a nap. You haven't seen Doggett or Skinner since last night. We're at the safehouse, remember?"

She tried to control her breathing.

"The safehouse. Yes. Ok. We're safe. Our baby is safe. Our baby? FOX?"

Mulder smiled.

"The baby, our baby, is fine. She's right here. Sssh though, you'll wake her. She's napping too."

Skinner pulled up on a side street, around the corner from the sleek white building.

"Don't trust the parking lot?" asked Doggett.

"No, would you?"

"You sound like a field agent."

Skinner smirked. "I was a good one, for a while. Maybe I should have stayed at it longer."

They stopped talking. A man in a security uniform approached.

Skinner whispered something to Doggett.

"You can't park there, fellas," said the guard.

Doggett flashed his badge. "Agent Doggett, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and - "

"DOGGETT, GET DOWN!"

Skinner pulled his gun just as a second man emerged from behind Doggett. Doggett rolled onto the ground just in time as a gunshot whizzed over him. Skinner had the assailant covered now, and there was no option but to fire. The attacker gasped, hit dead in the chest, and fell to the ground.

"Yeah," said Doggett as he pulled himself up. "A pretty good one, I'd say."

Bonatogether is dead, he was an AGENT IN BLACK, the Mafia Goon.
