If the game has lower stakes than it's less tense. Keep him on the edge of his seat. Make him feel like he's liable to be killed off at any moment. We can use him better if we do. And he'll be playing a much more interesting game.

Our cop role is near useless at this point. You should scan Ezio tonight to confirm celaph's claim tomorrow.

The thing is, though, he can lie in an unverifiable wayBobMcBob wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 4:15 amIf the game has lower stakes than it's less tense. Keep him on the edge of his seat. Thanks, folks! We appreciate the ideas. However, if anyone has ideas about the bot and the deleted posts, please PM me. Let's not bring this anymore than we have already into the game. I don't wanna be a distraction. i.e. Move along... nothing to see here.

I think he specifically meant he wanted to enjoy hunting, and having fun. He wasn't enjoying being hunted and pressured.BobMcBob wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 4:15 amIf the game has lower stakes than it's less tense. Keep him on the edge of his seat. @celaph, I'm curious why you probed the three you did. Scum reads you expected to live a bit?
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Like this is actually so anti-town it's ridiculous.

I can't wait for our Dip game with you two, celaph, HR and bozoBobMcBob wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 4:15 amIf the game has lower stakes than it's less tense. Keep him on the edge of his seat. (I miscounted and had to kick lfischl out because he was the last to sign up

Nothing is suspicious, I was protecting my pocketer/pocketee.
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
There aren't many mafia around, period. And it's more valuable to keep celaph honest as at the moment the WIFOM tomorrow will be massive. There's going to be a fight between "get rid of the known scum and avoid a miskill" and "celaph is helping, keep the aliance" and "is celaph lying to us to get a miskill and put aliens ahead"
Having a cop keep celaph honest is big.
Also, there really can't be more than 3 mafia. If we get 2, that's probably it.
Oh, but if someone doesn't claim doc saved soon, then Ezio is just mafia and that's it.
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Celaph, I propose a compromise:
You reveal your Ezio result (and future results as they come) at the end of the night. This ensures that you effectively screw the mafia if they choose to kill you, while gaining a new bargaining chip for the next day immediately to keep you from the daykill.

where is ezio even? like he would usually be here telling people how shitty I am
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Wait, no I didn't miscount. I'm an idiot... lfischl gets to play, and I'm sure he's praying for Turkey lolkgray wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 4:24 amI can't wait for our Dip game with you two, celaph, HR and bozo![]()

Damo is MUCH MUCH more important for town going forward.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 4:26 amThere aren't many mafia around, period. We should all claim by EOD vanilla/not-vanilla.
Any vanilla are not aliens. And damo can check that.
Any conspiracy theorists we have hidden can do that too.
But cops aren't as useful.
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Regardless of fun or stakes or anything like that, Ezio scan is useful information. I don't personally see a problem or a downside to pressing it out now. Nobody has provided one apart from the fact that we may accidentally end up killing him if he doesn't claim soon enough, which is something we want to do eventually anyway. Why shouldn't we vote him now and then hop off later?

Okay, I'll give.
Sure, I'm mafia. But ask yourself this:
Would you rather knock a solo mafia person whose actions you can verify are true
OR
A teamed up alien saying things you need to kill to verify.
He can say the he's "got Not Guilty" s until town is down, then guilty a town to throw his team over the line.
I killed Bozo N1, the aliens are sitting on theirs.
I will now field questions.

Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
N1 we were going to probe Damo, but ended up on ghug (if only we hadn't changed). Both because we thought that they were going to live a while and we choose the latter because we thought the former would look townier.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 4:17 amI think he specifically meant he wanted to enjoy hunting, and having fun. N2 was because I needed someone to push to try and protect myself. Macca was a genuine scumread at that point and also new hence the choice.
N3 I was actually planning on probing you for the longest while. I didn't because my gut is that scum Bunny doesn't call out his teammate like this. I still think that your behavior is off, but either way you've evolved it well enough that it's hard to read and kudos to you for that. Ezio was a scumlean with likelihood to go far.
