Do you think there's a reason you're getting more heat for defending celaph than I am?

Hmm. That's a good question. I guess there are a few possibilities.

(1) You're scum and it's your buddy/buddies giving me heat - I guess that would make Donny and/or Bunny your partner(s)?

(2) People generally respect my read ability more than yours and would be less worried about you being wrong (don't think this is likely at all).

(3) People are suspicious of celaph's EoD post linking me to him?

(4) The patriarchy?

I actually can't think of anything particularly convincing. Do you think there's a reason?

I think 2 night actually hold some water within the context of this game. Nobody seems to be taking me all that seriously, and you've assumed something oh a leading role.

I guess you were the only one really shading me for doubting the HR thing, but the vibe I got was that that feeling was garnering more attention than my celaph opinion was. My first instinct would be that it's because scum wants the easy kill and doesn't really want to give the dissenting fire any oxygen (think the day Moscow died in the game I pocketed the shit out of you), but that doesn't make sense if people are engaging with your dissent.

I think I'm just townread more than you are this game? And I've been sort of obnoxious about some of my reads.

I wasn't really scumreading you for doubting HR. At least, I don't think I was. But if it came off that way then it was almost certainly because I was real convinced HR was scum, and I'm much more on the fence about celaph's alignment.

I was thinking something similar about scum wanting the easy kill, whether because they're not on celaph's team or because they have no hope of saving him. So in that sense, Bunny's engaging with my dissent feels towny. Vecna, Maniac and Ezio would be my top guesses for scum just going along with this kill. Part of that is likely confbias though. Jasnah is also avoiding the discussion but her avoiding celaph's wagon is maybe too obvious of a standout.

Did you even look into this at all? Celaph hasn't ever been the most prolific poster and I remember long periods of time where he didn't say anything in M62.

I think he's town and a lot of people are going to be come EoD. Then I intend to dare them to put a bullet through my head for having the gall to speak out in favour of justice but I doubt I'll be killed, they don't have the balls.

I'm avoiding celaph's wagon because I think he's town. I'm not going to engage in any defensive efforts for him because I don't care enough and he can speak up for himself if he has any stake in living but a durable opposition is the lifeblood of democracy

I’ve been having trouble since the bot went down. The noise becomes more oppressive, and tracking down others positions and developing arguments too.
