This does not make any sense where one scum team can kill the other side once.
We are here to get scum, but their wincon involves taking out town also.

Sure, the aliens probably ain't going to waste their only kill... But that also means they probably ain't going to waste it on town. Whereas the mafia, at worst, probably have 33% odds of shooting an alien and possibly even higher depending on their roles and the exact numbers. That is not bad odds at all - I'd be shocked if we get through this entire game without an alien being NK'd.

That is an interesting number you pulled up with Hr, If hr is alien then this may be a good clue as to how big the team is.

I'm too tired to explain why your calculations are off. But there's no way there are that many mafia/aliens. It would require:

a) Multiple people lying about discards
b) EVERY mafia card dealt
c) Every alien card dealt and kept
d) Nobody vanilla'd (holstering the shot?!)

They may well be wrong, that's why I gave ranges and then picked the lower end of said range. If it were the worst case you were describing we'd be at 10 scum but that's, as you point out, very unlikely.
