How does Ezio look fine coming out of EOD when he didn't participate at all?BobMcBob wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 2:23 pmOkay, I finally got around to reading EoD (well, 30 minutes of it) and it matches up with what I'd heard. Celaph looks fine coming out of it, Ezio looks like a complete lunatic but also fine, and HR has repeatedly refused to explain how he could possibly have guaranteed scum on kgray. It stinks of someone who knows they've messed up and are going to flip so they aren't even trying anymore.

While I am embroiled in self-doubt, I'll try looking at some of the more obvious things that I didn't take time for last night.
The biggest finger in the eye I see is it looks like HR is trying to save Celaph. Convenient that the Ezio wagon was one vote away.

Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Honestly? HR + 1 other scum. As much as I'm tunneling and wanting all three dead I cannot discount the chance that at least 1 flips town. Hell, when I did my whole quoting of my own being an ass from way back in the day I think one of those may have been Ezio claiming SK as VT. Doesn't mean he should get away with an anti-town play like this.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 3:54 pmDemon, what do you suspect we'd have revealed if your three suggested kills go through?
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
@brain
For your next research dig, can you look into why HR spooked? What pushed him? Why didn’t he just keep his head down and let us tunnel in on celaph/ezio? Why didn’t his teammates coach him?

I doubt HR would require or be receptive to coaching were any offered

Not sure why jasnah felt the need to follow Vecna to Ezio.
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
I mean it is HR. I would agree with their statement. I felt bullied way back when I was scum with HR the first time.

Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Is the consensus that Ezio voters look scummier than Celaph voters, because that's my initial gut take?
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
I'd say emc and everyone behind (Vecna, jas, cel, and HR) are at least someone sus. Jas is the most townie of the lot currently to me.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:19 pmIs the consensus that Ezio voters look scummier than Celaph voters, because that's my initial gut take?

Hi jasnah. Maybe you want to see if she’s capable of obv!towning for us.
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
@damo why would SK lie about their discard like that? They wouldn't care about any pro-town or pro-scum benefits, it only would put a target on their back if they were outed.

I dunno, which is why I'm asking.kgray wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:59 amWhy do you think, bona?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:54 amWhy won't you elaborate on this? It seems like a crucial part of your argument.kgray wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:37 am
I think he was faking frustration after the almost-tie D1, he was distorting the VCA from D1, he voted for someone he said he thought was playing like his town self after shading that wagon, and his scumread of me showed he wasn't thinking about things that town!HR would think about in a way that I am not willing to further elaborate on at this time.
Sometimes you just need to be satisfied that you can't know all the answers, and that that's okay, and it's actually pro-town.
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Do you only scumread celaph because of HR tying the vote?DemonRHK wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:22 pmI'd say emc and everyone behind (Vecna, jas, cel, and HR) are at least someone sus. I would still do itkgray wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 5:01 amWell I assume whoever lost the ability to vote would claim that at the beginning of the day, since they are notified.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:59 amWhat's the benefit, though? Spooking town by making it look like there's a tie? (I'd be down to do this)kgray wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:58 am
So you just made me go back and look??![]()
Yeah it says they lose the ability to vote. I don't know how that would play out, because obviously they could still say ##vote Jamie or whatever and the bot probably would pick it up, but I assume the GMs wouldn't include it in the vote count?
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Careful, bona. There's a point where your "too scummy to be scum" schtick is going to lose it's appeal.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:35 pmI would still do itkgray wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 5:01 amWell I assume whoever lost the ability to vote would claim that at the beginning of the day, since they are notified.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:59 am

Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
You're not living in reality if you would describe HR as only "some[what] sus"
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
No, you're talking out of your ass and the original Ezio voter besides. Are you extraordinarily confused or just trying to stir up shit?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:19 pmIs the consensus that Ezio voters look scummier than Celaph voters, because that's my initial gut take?
