What about maniac play is towny?

Early game he made a reasonable point about not killing ghug. He makes a good point about not voting for Bozo and engaged in reasonable conversation defending it. It not much compared to others, but it's more than I'm used to seeing.

The scummy part of Maniac is his voting behavior. He voted rdr because 3-way ties are fun and then voted me because he hadn't played with lfischl before.

What do you think it indicates about the size of the aliens?

As written says very little about the aliens. If you wanted to extrapolate then I would guess 3-4 aliens, but the margin of error in that and which aliens is much higher this game.

I think either way, the take away is that at least one of our scum teams will be very opposed to bussing and possibly both.

Do you think the aliens are claiming mafia discards?

Chances are at pretty good that at least one alien claimed mafia discard. At least two is also reasonably likely.

Going to be low activity today. It's too early to hop on a leading ghug wagon and I think there are better candidates before emc. That said I recall someone, probably @brain bomb, bizarrely grouping us as a scum team so in response I'll double down my insistence that we should instead put pressure on rdrivera because of how easily he could have been protected D1.

Funny how @ghug is now willing to get on Demon wagon? Seems like I was ahead of my time?

Oh just as I say that he switches onto Maniac – I don't hate the idea of a Maniac dk but I don't like, well, any of the people on the wagon currently.

HR is townread, that's just a lot of effort to pay as scum when it would be hard to make a case against scum for laziness next to people like me and people even lower activity like me

I was already kind of irked by how invisible he was, and celaph inspired me to consider whether he'd ever said anything as reasonable and agreeable as the #LoveGhug post as town.

Here's a question for anyone around: Should the paranoid gun owner claim?

Pro: Saves town investigatives and doctors from accidntally getting shot
Pro: I don't think they can be killed without taking enemies out first (someone check me on this)
Con: They don't use their power offensively

But...could be nice?

I think it would be a pretty good claim to make, especially if they feel like they are likely to be scanned or saved, not so much if they're a likely mafia target.

Treating a small scumteam as an sk is a bad approach to take because they have more than 1 vote and almost certainly have various special abilities that they can use to screw with town

How many mafia can there be? I'm guessing 1...

I would guess at least 2 to be honest. I think there's likely at least one among the discard claims. I do expect aliens to be bigger though.

The only use for Paranoid Gun Owner is baiting a NK, so how claiming it makes sense?
