Okay, it must be somewhere in the pages I haven't read yet (although if someone can point me to it real quick that would be nice).

My big long post before EoN and my talk with hr (hb?) outline my initial reasoning.

It isn't. But let him keep going.

I realized I had no EON post on Maniac and went back to reread him and Hellenic. I was surprised how towny I found Hellenic's ISO on reread.

I'm curious your thoughts on Maniac though.

So I only skimmed this before EoN but I really like this post from Bona. He is definitely hunting (for *two* scumteams), he's looking at different angles, and he's solidly town imo.

@bona, I will say that I think your lack of scum experience is influencing your conclusions. You made some similar comments in your first game about scum coordinating to get people killed, and I think what you don't realize is that scum don't have to do that. Even with two teams, in general, all they really have to do is stay under the radar and let town kill themselves. That's what I meant D1 with "town is the biggest threat to town."

In general, pushes to change up the votes at EoD like that are town. Absolutely, sometimes they're scum saving each other. But in my experience that happens a lot less frequently than town trying to figure out what the right vote is.

Anyway, I like your points about the people who joined lfischl wagon #2. I think it's possible that people were saving celaph. However, I also think it's possible that scum voted path of least resistance, thinking an lfischl vote was easier to justify than a celaph vote. I certainly townread everyone moving back and forth between Bunny and Rivera and celaph more than those who jumped on random wagons near the end.

This is the towniest kgray post yet. scum!kgray never wrote a post like this that I recall.

I'm not sure how I feel about the jumping around conclusion. It's a tell of mine in previous scum games that I don't jump. But last game we had scum jumping all over.

It's occurring to me that if I were scum, this game would be hunting for one scumteam and I'd like it better.

Why? I don't see it. Was just reading his game from M63 and he had reads galore and was trying to lead town.

Do you think he's changed his style?

And actually, it wouldn't make a lot of sense for the loud role cop to claim they discarded that role if they actually kept it, because nobody would believe they're not mafia if they ever visited anyone.

So HR is almost certainly not mafia, the loud role cop is almost certainly not in the game, and anybody who is loud is almost certainly a clear.
Wait, I guess HR could have been dealt 2 mafia cards. But the rest of that post is accurate, I think.
I, uh, can't remember HR's claim or the rest of the conversation around it, and can't find them right now. Can you explain the line of logic all the way through again? I believe has something to do with HR claiming loud mafia discard?
Assuming scum!HR wouldn't lie about his discard for fear of being called out, he has to *know* that scum drew the loud mafia role. That means either he had it (and kept or discarded it) or he's scum and one of his teammates kept it, because D1 he wouldn't know what his teammates discarded.

The loud role tells people when they visit. If HR said he discarded it but actually kept it, his role is virtually useless, because he'd have to convince people he is a loud town role, which is obviously risky and has a good chance at a CC.

If HR claimed to discard it because his teammate actually has the role, then if his teammate flips first, HR would be found to be a liar and would be killed next.

So there's no way that scum could have the loud mafia role, unless HR is an idiot and playing super sub-optimally, and say what you want about HR but that's not what happened. So anyone who visits someone and is heard because they're loud is virtually towncleared.

Ok. I'll remember this when I roll scum. :P

Ok. I get that. Should we push a 2nd lfischl wagon voter or a celaph voter today?

Perhaps a better word would be more syntactically assertive in word choice, connotations and all.
Idk about assertive, I've noticed myself qualifying quite a few of my statements, but I think that's something I often do on either team.
