I don't believe retractions.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 5:39 pmI think you should go reread it again. He said "I do not know if the roles of my 2 dealt cards were of the same faction" and "Retract. Both my cards were same faction." and "Correct" (in response to he tossed VT) and "I may have had 2 identical cards" (not *were* he was demurring) and (crucially)
"It should now be clear that:
a) I discarded 'Vanilla Townsperson'
b) I am not a Vanilla Townsperson
I screwed up and fully expect to be NK'd."

Reposting for Ezio:
Hi Ezio, I'm Bunny. They did say you'd advocate no-kill on day 1.
Since you're not going to vote for someone, would you care to enlighten us with your impressions of any players?
Impressions of mechanics?
Thoughts at all?
Ooooh, prompt time: If you have the chance to tie the vote at EOD, will you?

He did this in M62, with damo and Bunny. Both of them ended up being scum, thoughHamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 5:37 pmThis feels so strong from you and I don't recall such a vehement defense of someone previously. Why are you so held to them? Role?

Not everyone is smart.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 5:43 pmI don't really understand why you think anyone has a motivation to lie about their discard, though. Let's say the scum team(s) discuss their discards tonight... What's the benefit? Player X can now say they made Player Y's discard and Player Y can say they made Player X's discard? What has the scum team gained from such a discussion?

Unless you think there's a scum team full of idiots who would decide to lie for shits and giggles, that doesn't answer my question about what you think the motivation to lie isghug wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 5:45 pmNot everyone is smart.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 5:43 pmI don't really understand why you think anyone has a motivation to lie about their discard, though. Who do you think has made reasonable statements this game?
Certainly not Ghug for starting the discard nonsense.
Certainly not Bozo for tracking the discard nonsense (although we can't get any reads on Bozo)
Certainly not brainbomb for being brainbomb.
Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Because I checked the bot and didn't see either of our votes.

Fair point, but if bozo chose say a mafia goon, his confirmation PM may only give him his scum buddy names but isn’t the QT link given at the same time which list the team mates AND their roles. If so bozo could see that someone else is Mafia GF and he is safe in claiming to discard that role. However it’s risky as what if we daykill Mafia GF now. Bozo is exposed as a liar without a good reason, as far as I can tell. Therefore I think bozo prob did discard Mafia GF and if so that’s very good news.
On balance I’m town reading both bozo, Damo and Kgray of the back of this.
But I think you're right, it doesn't make a lot of sense for someone to lie about discarding a unique scum role. I don't think that bozo discarding GF says anything about bozo's alignment, though.
##callGM - when scum are sent their final role PM, are they given a link to the mafia QT and does that QT included a list of all mafia and their roles?
Prior to the game starting, after the end of the Role Allocation phase, any Mafia in the game would be sent a link to the Mafia QT, yes, and yes that information would be listed in the QT.

Re: MAFIA 64 - The Z Files - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
I mean, all of it. I still don't know what Bunny was doing - jumping on Maniac's bad assumption for a fake townslip? Scumslipping by accepting Maniac's premise that scum know each other's roles? Town who just didn't think about it?
But I don't see how Bunny would be trying to get scum to claim they discarded their teammates' unique roles. What benefit does that give them? If bozo is non-GF mafia who knows there's a GF, and claims he discards GF, then if the GF flips bozo is dead next. I guess in typing that out I can see why you think Bunny would do that, but it seems unlikely to me it'd ever happen.
