I am fine. I am on vacation, so theoretically I have more time to play, but I have been constantly 10 pages behind because thecsun is shinning I have better things to do than staying on my phone playing Mafia.

That's fair. I hope you're having a good vacation. I *literally* only just caught up with the thread, but I've been having a blast so far. It's a massive time commitment but good fun. I'll be back with (hopefully) original thoughts, reads, and eventually a vote starting in an hour or so.

Thanks. With the pandemics we can't travel, but I have a house close to the Beach and it's not a popular beach so we have plenty of space.

I finally caught up with the thread too.

I found that Bona exchange really annoying, as it's not how the game should been played, but I think Bona is town, I think scum Bona would have backed down after the pressure he got, but he double down. Also, to add a point, voting lurkers D1 sometimes make them magically apear...

I kinda like the Macca wagon, they didn't gave an impression and I usually tend to easily sort they as town.

I would not mind also a Maniac wagon, his total lack of content other then a weird vote on Brain isn't what I expect from him.

I do not like rdrivera pointing out he likes the Macca wagon but voting elsewhere, he could be leaving the Macca option open for a later vote. However, what concerns me most is rdrivera saying he usually sorts Macca correctly when they are town, because Macca has only been town for a full game one time, and in that game rdrivera was scum reading Macca as late as D4, when rdrivera voted for Macca.

Also, rdrivera's reason for not revealing his discard no longer hold up with most players already making a claim about their discard and the option to say only the alignment of his discard.

Okay just did a reread of Donny and I think I stand by my townlean on him. What I noticed most is he asked a lot of questions but so far has reached relatively few conclusions. I would like to see a few more conclusions from him but I understand that will probably happen in the next 9 hours.

Hmm, I kinda like this case. A lot of it could be explained by faulty memory of past games, and I'm not sure he's been particularly involved in the claim debate since passing on it earlier though.

Okay, skimming his early game I'm inclined to agree with bunny more, I think he seemed pretty silly, in a way that has made me laugh out loud multiple times. I don't have much experience with ghug but that's the way it came off to me. Most people in the thread seemed more serious and annoyed than him.

One of his earliest notable moves was his exchange with kgray about townreading me. He asked her to give her read first and then preceded to give a somewhat uninformed read on me. The whole handling felt off at the time. Then after that he didn't have much solvy behaviour or anything that seemed very townie. I give him scumlean.

Reread lfischl. There is like almost nothing there, quite literally. I am not overly opposed to a dk on him because of it. His ghug vote was definitely strange, but I think he may have been another person who didn't pay close attention to the setup. Overall a rather weird lurky energy, scumlean.

I was going to ask Bozo why but I think they spelled it out pretty clearly. I find RDR pretty low-key in the beginning but seem to have a decent mind for the work. Bozo has essentially laid out the case; I've just got to follow the tracks to see if I arrive at the same conclusion.

I'm pretty sure I remember playing a game with you. You were a little odd from memory, can't remember in what way. I'll probably have a better vote than you, and it sounds like you're off to do something useful so that's good.

@bob - my modus operandi seems to be get DK early because I always look scummy, get fear NK if I evade a daykill, figure out the puzzle just before I get killed if I reach the mid game but fail to convince anyone. I never reach the end game. My stats are pretty good, my play is terrible.

Are you willing to say what you discarded, either town/not town, town/mafia/alien/SK, or the exact role?

Reread Demon. Turns out he was the first push for a discard claim. He hasn't talked about much else. Made some suggestion about basically outing one of the lovers to possibly kill BP lover, which seems really bad coming from a self-proclaimed mechs guy. Scumlean again. I should probably try and snap out of this lurkers bad, actives good reads pattern but that's the way I feel at the moment. Like I said, I do expect a deepscum, and I'll keep an eye out for who I think is most likely.

Hmmm, okay. On a proper reread of early ghug, I'm now feeling more inclined to agree with kgray. He wasn't particularly carefree overall, and his push on her really sucked. Nothing seemed overly helpful and there were some baseless accusations. Moving into later ghug there still isn't much change. He pushed mechs a lot more than I'd expect from a player like ghug, although I don't think that's necessarily AI. Overall not much changed, he marked posts he did and didn't like which was fine. I think I deduct some towniness from where I used to have him but still erring on the side of town I think.

So, in m62, you were VT. We know what you were like then: serious, down to earth, solvey, etc. In m63, that all felt forced to me since it was more serious and all that stuff, and you were PR. Now, in m64, you have gone the opposite direction, and are now jokey ("+9999999 town points"). What does this indicate?

In defense of myself I've tried to make jokes both of the past games, they've just come off poorly. I take it as a sign that I'm adapting to the medium and the group better.

Could you indicate where these jokes were? Because it seems to me (although I haven't checked) that you have been joking around a lot more.

For now I like Bob and Bona. I kind of like emc. He's barely written anything but I think that given the opportunity he would pick a town role, and at risk of doing too much mechs there's a pretty high chance of drawing at least one town card.

Would like to hear from Macca before EOD. I guess it's a somewhat better wagon than ghug but I'm not in love with it either.

Bob I can understand or at least get behind. Bona, potentially. Why EMC, particularly if they have barely posted. That does seem to be the EMC way before they get modkilled, but it seems to be an interesting take. Liking the low posters?

What's more compelling about a Macca wagon as opposed to ghug? Do you have a read on either one?

Bozo, can you please start doing something other than bookkeeping the discard claims? Push a little, question a little (not about discards), give some of your feelings about people. Stop hiding behind a very basic mechs operation.

Uhh probably because you haven't...? You've made 6 posts up to this point that haven't been about card distribution and discards. One was a joke about Nanook, one was suggesting jasnah is being pocketed, 3 were about your half-joke about ghug and I being on a scumteam together, and one (your best one) was asking to join the mafia Diplomacy game.

Quickly reread damo, the dude has nothing going for him right now. Like he has a vote, the rest was weird kinda vague specifics (I am aware that sounds stupid) about irrelevant information. He has a vote. That's it. Scumlean again.

Do you just adore every country by any chance? (Also having played a statistically improbable percentage of my games as Turkey, I must say I rather like it. Even Austria can be quite fun, except in gunboat I hate it.)

In press I like every country, but Russia is my favorite. In gunboat I dislike every country, but Russia is my least favorite.
