I went back to read his games, it's much more like his scum games than town games. Scum games are light, fluffy and jokey.

Town games are confused, townslips so hard they're unbelievable.

To add on to post above, nothing to read, maybe scum trying to stay under radar?

Right, so I went back through all his recent games. The recent town games had a lot of slips. And then needed it spelled out how they were even slips.

The scum games had not a lot. And something weird about hammering jamie d1 while he slept? It was weird and jokey.

But then why don't you claim?
Because I am not convinced it is in town's best interest for us to reveal what we discarded. If that becomes the general consensus supported by people I trust (ie townread and have a good grasp on mechanics) then I will claim.
Kgray, do you feel you don't have a solid grasp on mech or do you believe it is being pushed by scum?
I mean.... I haven't even read all the roles lol. I don't enjoy probability math or calculating the odds, and honestly I'm not here to do homework, so I let other people handle that.

I don't feel it's being pushed by scum in particular, no. And in general people say that it's scummy to try to force reveals, but I don't think I've ever seen scum actually do that?

Neat! What about me choosing not to answer is scummy?
My classical mafia performance last game was indicative of this. Pissed Hellenic Riot right off. But I think the difference was I was trying to hide out and be less conspicuous.
I can assure you that you wilting under my pressure and making me look good was a lovely ego-boost and didn't piss me off at all ;)

That makes sense.
I don't have experience to answer the second part.
You feel a reveal is of negative consequence to town then?

wiki.mafiascum.net is probably dated but, "The disadvantage to massclaiming is that it reveals to the scum exactly who the power roles are."

Just checking here lfischl; are you still sold on your vote for ghug? Who do you townread?

What I found most notable about HB last game was that he felt 'off' from almost the very start, though. The potential coppiness obviously hid that for a while (and it made perfect sense that he'd feel off as a PR too, so I was happy to accept that explanation), but I got a feeling very on that HB wasn't his usual self, and as soon as he wasn't the Cop then it was clear that he had to be scum. I don't get that feeling at all this game, so I'm feeling pretty good about HB being town presently.

In their scum game with me, Macca trolled a lot D1. I'm not seeing that nervous, nothing-else-to-say-so-I-better-joke-around energy here. Are you seeing something weird and jokey?

And what would they even be slipping about here? In the game you're talking about, bozo specifically asked people what they'd pick as scum, and Macca answered (yes, with slips). But what would they even be talking about here that would cause them to slip?

I honestly don't know. It has some negatives, yes. It also has some positives. But once you reveal you can't un-reveal, which is why I'm not revealing at this point.

Do you know what it was that made him feel "off" to you? I'm noticing a distinct lack of questions, which I normally associate with town!Hamilton, but at the same time I don't think he seems uncomfortable.

Agreed - Even as the most modest person in the world I still enjoy the occasional smattering of pride ;)

(Also, I certainly needed it after the previous game)

We've been talking mechanics and picking roles...and they were nothing but correct with regards to the more than half their posts about damo's error.

The rest of their posts were joking around with Bob about lion and poultry, congratulating ghug on a limmerick, and saying Hi.
