Yeah, the behavior two games ago was nothing like anything I'd seen from him before. It was one of the reasons I was pushing him there.

I actually think his emotionality is more similar to last game than the one before. He got pretty upset and OMGUSy when I voted him naked, and he intimated that his role was important, which are both in line with classic brainbomb (though not scummy, per se).

Well maybe his role is important, and he is excited about it? I don't see how you can say his actions are in line with classic brainbomb but not scummy per se, but still use them to scumread him.

I think Ghug is playing differently from last game. Not necessarily town, but also don't have scum vibes from him. I have a feeling he won't choose Mafia if he had another option, but he can be Alien or could have two Mafia cards.

Don't like both wagons, to be honest.

Not in the same way, at least from what I've seen. When we miskilled him 2 games ago he was acting a lot more like he is here than he was when he just stopped posting last game.

I really like when Kgray says the things I want to say in a better way.

Mafia isn't diplomacy. It's a team game, your safety means nothing of you are town.

Also, any Mafia member will lie and it can't be compared to diplomacy, that's why your take on Vecna really worries me.

I know. I played social deduction for years before I began playing Diplomacy.

However, a) it's D1, b) by the rules I need to vote, c) by definition anyone I vote is more likely to be some kind of scum than I know myself to be at 0%, and d) ideally I would not be claiming a PR yet and so wouldn't be claiming any info and so would have the same amount – 0 – of concrete evidence as anyone else, so who cares? Anyone who's taking exception to my reasoning at this time is either concern trolling to try to get credibility, neurotic, or both, it's not gonna make me care to hear what you have to say.

Is that what I was saying? If it came across that way, then I erred. I don't think we should be claiming. I tend to agree on the sus part with anyone that might be currently pushing it, or pushed it when the game began.

So you're sus of people pushing the massclaim but also think people who spend time discussing mechanics are town? Based on what? People who talk about the mechanics of claiming without taking any actions on it are cool?

If I'm being totally honest I couldn't remember why I scumread him in the first place by the time I voted for him, and I think he's more inclined to avoid reacting emotionally to being the second place wagon halfway through D1 if he's scum. I'm not convinced he's town yet either, but emotional brain has always been someone I've been able to read, so I'm not too concerned.
