I don't want to reveal too much right now in case I am horribly wrong, they're scum, and it turns into something that other scum adapt to. When I get a chance to go back and reread, then I'll share more. And again, it's all gut at this point, right?

Why be evasive if it's just your gut reads? And giving explanations for reads is definitely worth the risk of scum using that to fake towniness. They're already doing that...

And most importantly, if you are withholding your reasons for your townreads so scum can't use them to blend in, why are you (1) saying you'll share more after rereading - that sounds like you're just deflecting - and (2) asking me to explain my townlean on Bob?

Lol, I too am not particularly fond of this action. I wouldn't place much value on it right now but that may change later if/when I iso him, especially if this is something he continues doing.

Alright, then let me jump in. I'd be inclined to think that anyone spending the time deliberating on the mechanics, value of claiming, etc is most likely town. Of course, scum could use that discussion to steer us into claiming, but I'd like to think not this early. That could be me being misguided. Sharing after rereading lets me confirm or disconfirm my thinking without the hassle that I often run into during these games of saying one thing then immediately thinking, "NO, why did I write that. That's stupid."

And I am interested in why you're reading Bob as town.

Oh hi hamb. Personally I think this is an extremely weak reason to town read people, because scum could easily push mechanics talk, and the mechanics rabbithole is not necessarily beneficial to town. In fact, I tried to avoid mechanics talk most of the time and actively turned it down a couple of times, because I didn't want the discussion to be overrun by it. So I really don't know how you're town reading me for talking mechanics.

Not in the same way, at least from what I've seen. When we miskilled him 2 games ago he was acting a lot more like he is here than he was when he just stopped posting last game.

Yeah, the behavior two games ago was nothing like anything I'd seen from him before. It was one of the reasons I was pushing him there.

I actually think his emotionality is more similar to last game than the one before. He got pretty upset and OMGUSy when I voted him naked, and he intimated that his role was important, which are both in line with classic brainbomb (though not scummy, per se).

Well maybe his role is important, and he is excited about it? I don't see how you can say his actions are in line with classic brainbomb but not scummy per se, but still use them to scumread him.

I'm not scumreading him anymore.

I think it would be good for everyone to claim what they discarded. I would not mind a full mass claim here, but I do not expect there to be support for that, as the benefits are harder to qualify that the disadvantages.

I don't really feel like ghug is playing like he did last game - If anything there's been a very conscious effort to be as polar opposite to that as possible, with none of the coasting by "protecting" as many good players as possible (and therefore avoiding having to read them) that so characterised his play then.

I have to agree with Riot. I don't really understand what Bunny is talking about. Ghug was buddying half the players last game.

I remember last game far differently. ghug high posted and antagonized most of the towncore by treating players like eden as if their pushes were dumb, which eventually caused eden to go ballistic and turn on ghug. In my memory ghug made himself viable by being so contrarian that he had no one left who wanted him alive

I don't like the brainbomb wagon. Last game when he was scum and under pressure he just collapsed. This game he's excited and he cares, and he's definitely scumhunting. Not a good D1 daykill.

I have to agree with Kgray too. Brain tunneling and flip floping and being all over the thread is usually town Brain.

I'm reading an Ifishcl town game (pr, no less), and he is acting very similar to how he is here. It's probably NAI, but we should get him to post more.
