I'd add that bona has consistently garnered a lot of suspicion as town, so suspiciousness should not in itself warrant suspicion.
This is a googly good point.

So, I believe I haven't played a game with bona yet, so can somebody who has give me a quick rundown on his standard play as town?
Why are you asking about Bona's experience and not mine? We've both only played in the last two games. Take everything coming from them with a grain of salt as they were both far more conventional set-ups than here.

I'd describe Bona's play as jovial, emotive, and generally competent. For example he was clearly happy last game when we'd caught ghug+BB. Both of the last games he was rather somber in accepting the DK when he felt like he couldn't/didn't want to fight it any more. By generally competent I mean that he hasn't made any obvious strategical errors and is usually on top of things, though doesn't always seem to understand the ideas behind certain plays. Last game, for example, he figured out that I was faking my town self (I was PR) way before anyone else. That said, last game he voted a lot to set up ties often without additional justification.

Lastly, and a point of caution for you, Bona's game thus far has been adaptive and not entirely consistent. He was getting crap last game for playing different than the first game despite being VT both games in very similar set-ups.
Excellent take from celaph here, I have to say. Find it hard for a scum partner to go into this much detail, so celaph is town for now. I think this shows bona's game pretty well.

Why couldn't celaph be scum and bona town (or a different variety of scum)?

hmmm
That is a good point ghug,
I should keep in mind multi factions.
Do you think it is shade by celaph on Bona's play being different this game?
Bona is a read I don't have a handle yet.

So I had a crazy thought.

IF (maybe a big if) we have a town lover, one could out with only the NUMBER of people in the QT. That would provide a bit of info, especially if there 4+.

I would like thoughts on this idea.
Does the QT actually show how many people there are? I don't remember anything like this.
Looking at Bona ,this is weird as if he is in a qt then he would have that information, right?

I don't trust any of you. @emc tell me who you're voting some time so I can at least get a confirmed town out of today.
Why not me? I can give you some good pointers. Chaqa's always a fun first vote. Also don't wait for emc to vote before you cast yours, he almost always does so very late.
Chaqa's not a particularly great first vote given his current position on the sub list.

I didn't mean to comment at all on Bona's play this game. I should clarify that the line "Bona's game thus far has been adaptive and not entirely consistent" refers to how Bona has played as town the past two games and not his play this particular game.

K, I had read that as being this game. That makes more sense.

Do you think this is a townslip? In the grand scheme of things seems easily faked.

Mulder emerged from the shower feeling surprisingly refreshed. Something Skinner had said was nagging at him, though. Someone senior had wanted this buried. Who?

I do agree with you that this could be faked, although is Bona a good enough player to do that?
Though I have no idea how scum bona would act, I do put it as a possibility.
I am going to slightly lean on it is but I don't think pegging that as ob town or anything is a good idea at all until there is more evidence of alignment.

Well that's why it's a good *first* vote. Imagine how annoyed he would be if he found out someone was voting him D1 without him even being in the game!
