Yep. I shouldve harped more on the fact he did not get upset that I was -lying- about being roleblocked. It was so obvious to me, and yet noone saw it.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
I have no regrets about bussing Ghug, btw. I told my team I was going to bus Ghug. He knew what I was doing. I deliberately made my case about the "scumslip" partly inaccurate to give Ghug the space to defend himself and rebut my case, and he was more-or-less doing that. Unfortunately Brainbomb's reactions changed the situation.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
To be fair, if HB's attempt to tie the vote wouldve been succesfull, this game probably wouldve gone down very differently and Ghug would live for a nice long time.
Aaro would probably still seal the deal somehow since the GF wouldnt escape that nonsense, but itd be a lot trickier with a RB still going around.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
Note that I did initially think that Ghug really had slipped, due to my own mental lapse, but then during the night phase talking to him in the QT I remembered he was the Roleblocker not the Godfather. I then decided to stick with my "scumslip!!" approach to bussing, because it felt sufficiently organic.

Oh, let me know if you do, I'll send you the files for an edited version.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 5:42 amI read the first like 20 chapters years ago. I had reached the end of what was released and it updated like five chapters a year. It’s complete now though so I probably should reread

Definitely; they demonstrated really good thinking and playing. A fella like me could learn a lot shadowing them. And some others of you.
Brian's a dud.

To be fair to you Brian, having read the scum QT where you were explicitly advised not to give hyposcans, I can't really blame you there. I don't really understand how nobody considered how terrible you'd look when you didn't die AND you didn't give scans though.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
It think it came down to getting confused with the different scenarios. Believe me, I had a document with the advice there and I kept referring to it all throughout the day. Claim, don't claim, claim if the cop claims, etc. It was a lot and then the more I kept avoiding the questions (HR's noted 1 out of 10), the deeper it got.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 12:27 pm
Hamilton, you tried your best, but I'm not sure why you seemed unable to explain your Brainbomb vote, under questioning, when we had rehearsed this in the Mafia QT the night before.
I was also shit trying to concoct a false shade on HR. Or anyone. I did appreciate yours and Bozo's advice.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
The thing that I still find funny is that when you came in day 1 while I was arguing with Bunny and asked if I had slipped, the first thing I thought was "oh God, Jamie just slipped knowledge of my alignment".Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 12:52 pmNote that I did initially think that Ghug really had slipped, due to my own mental lapse, but then during the night phase talking to him in the QT I remembered he was the Roleblocker not the Godfather. I do not get it either. How did Jamie die? I find no clue in Tom's messages?

The game was an autowin for town on mechanics, so Tom decided to call it without waiting for Jamie to concede.

Correct. I won’t drag people along putting effort into the game when the outcome is certain mathematically
