Not going to speak for Chaqa, emc, but for my part, you got so motivated last game when town caught two mafia back-to-back that you wrote a hilarious fanfiction about the caught mafia's final encounters with each other before they died.
This game we caught two mafia back-to-back and you practically vanished from the thread. Even when you're on the block you aren't really putting up a fight or anything.

I'm not saying that I expect a fanfic, or that giving one would lead me to townread you at this point anyway. And I recognize there could be out of game reasons for the different reactions. But you almost sound resigned to your team being defeated. It's not what I expect of you as town.

Emc has a history of voting oddly as town so I wouldn't worry too much about that per se.

Going back to Viz Comic, there's an absolutely wonderful "Gilbert Ratchet" episode where Gilbert is desperately trying to raise funds to send his elderly grandmother to a private hospital because she's been told she needs an urgent hip operation.

Eventually they get to the hospital and the doctor breaks out a ghetto blaster and says:

Yo, skanky bitch grandma
you better listen good,
I'm the greatest God-damn doctor,
in this badass neighbourhood!

To which Gilbert groans and says "Oh no, it's that kind of hip-hop oration".

Which I think is very funny.

I feel like I'm coasting too much after the Ghug and Brainbomb victories. I don't have huge amounts of time before EoD because I've got some academic reading I want to do, but I'm going to try to make time to iso/re-read my nulls - in particular Chaqa and Worcej.

Yeah, out-of-game reasons have me tired instead of riding holiday high like previously. I think I'm a better scum player as to give up at this point though, lol

If I do flip imma taunt you so hard for breaking my heart like this. Give me a reason. For whoever is reading Chaqa's read as some sort of scan certainty, that's most definitely not true.
