There's no way vecna deliberately kills teammate roleblocker ghug as the casting vote there even if brain was also scum (and I don't see it even if you were too), because this setup is not going to leave an ability for Vecna to ever explaining being alive in the lategame after that now.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 1:45 ambrain wasn't getting any pressure at this point. Given brain's preemptive defense, I think there was some cooperation between the two to get ghug off the chopping block, and either get me (town) or brain (prob goon) killed instead. Brain's last minute cop claim is also fake. Idk how it makes vecna look.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
While I admit I probably look suspicious right now, how the heck does this follow from a ghug flip?
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
For context for those that somehow still didnt figure it out:
I obviously wasnt roleblocked
I obviously wasnt roleblocked
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
And indeed Jamiet and Aaro have been acting really weird around my claim all day

I'm still town reading you but in what world am I your strongest scumread??ghug wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 3:40 amI rarely have good reads the first few days. I've recently decided it's better to just push people I think hurt town for a couple days. It prevents me from getting stuck in tunnels based on early reads that last into the midgame, and it gets rid of players who can cause problems. In the mean time, I can focus on building townreads.President Eden wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 3:28 am
OK.
##VOTE ghug
Why are you voting worcej exactly? Yesterday you voted ND because you didn't like him personally and felt that he was just a bad player, so getting rid of the slot was a good idea. But ND has been replaced with worcej. And you haven't said why you're voting worcej yet. In fact, none of your engagement with worcej so far has really had anything to do with him.
You even said after Maniac flipped that "my wagon was shitty too" -- your exact words -- and yet you're here again today, after two flips and a lot of discussion from other people.
You should know I don't particularly like worcej (sorry worcej). I've also seen no evidence he's a good player as town, and I think town is better off flipping him sooner than later to make sense of D1. My strongest scumread right now is probably Durga, but I can usually figure out if she's town eventually, and she's valuable if she is, so I have no interest in killing her today.
You were townreading me. What about the post you quoted changed that?
And if this is true, literally vote me

Playing a less that appealing play style is not playing against your win condition.President Eden wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 5:28 amTown that demoralize solving efforts literally are playing against their win condition by definition. It's not even that bold for ghug to do it as mafia since he inexplicably gets townread for doing it, but even if it is, it's at least playing to his win condition, even if it's risky or turns out to be -EV. Shitting on other town for trying to solve the game while concededly doing jack and shit to solve it himself is appallingly anti-town regardless of his alignment. I refuse to believe he is doing this on purpose as town. He has to be mafia.
I don't understand why you're adament he has to be mafia when you've literally been told he's done this as town.

Great work town. I didn't see it coming. I scumread Ghug at start, but he just fooled me with his lazy play.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
Well, at least it is good to note, ghug is opposite of damo in tone when playing - playful town, acerbic and coquettish as scum.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
Yeah, sometimes I really wonder about the critical thought levels when it takes like 10 people responding before someone finally states "hey guys, he might also be fakeclaiming this as town".Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 1:54 amWell at least that makes me two for two on knowing claims are blatant lies![]()

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
1) Durga subbing is already suspiciousFluminator wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 1:50 amWhile I admit I probably look suspicious right now, how the heck does this follow from a ghug flip?
2) Ghug was *really* mad at me about lying about what the opening posts said about the PMs. And he knows (after last game when she was blatant and unrepentant) that she never reads the opening posts. So he's particularly motivated to end the gag before she gets caught.
3) She was adamantly defending him.
