You haven’t seen me and Chaqa pressure emc thenVecna wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 7:36 pmhow does that "blow up your spot". EMC is about as pressure resistant as it gets, so what was your play here.President Eden wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 7:34 pmWhy do y’all always have to blow up my spot. You’re like a continental Jamie.
Plus we could maybe have gotten Father Ghug on the job too. He’d have to pay attention then.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
PE has voted nearly every player this game, so if hes scum hes playing antispew to exorbitant measures. Either means his scumteam is struggling or hes cocky

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
to be fair, a lot of his votes have been used to put (weak) pressure on people to engage with him. I never considered his vote on me to be serious.

Care to elaborate on the "But..." here? What in my posts feels scummy?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 4:27 pmAnd, as a matter of a starting point in letting you all know where I stand, there is this:
Reads as of D2. Definitely fluid and not ossified.
Tier 1 (would definitely not kill): President Eden, Jamie, myself
Tier 2 (would need a very convincing case to kill): aaro, worcej/durga, RDR
Tier 3 (ambivalent, could kill, could keep alive): bona, bozo, brain, celaph, damo, flum, emc, ghug, HR,
Tier 4 (remove them already): bunny, chaqa, donny, vecna
Celaph: questioning, commenting, good post on page 123. But…

So you think he thought the VT role PMs included names? The VT role PM is given in post 1.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 1:43 pm@Bozo: In particular I direct you to re-read this line:
"So in the heat of the moment, he thought he had to pretend he had a flavour name. Ergo, Ghug is not a VT."
Note my use of the word "pretend".

That is what you said when I voted for you D1 of M62.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 1:45 pmOh seriously Bozo not this shit again. Scumleaning Worcej because ND subbed out is silly, but making him your top "scumread" and listing this as one of your main reasons is downright ridiculous.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 9:48 am
worcej is my top suspect for these reasons:
1. ND getting subbed D1 is a scum red flag for me.

what? Also for what it's worth, I was basically done with my long post by the time eden posted for mebrainbomb wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 7:55 pmdo you consider yourself weak?aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 7:49 pmto be fair, a lot of his votes have been used to put (weak) pressure on people to engage with him. It was not a signal, it was much simpler than that. I was just curious if anyone noticed the significance of the colors.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
I don’t want to give away too much, but I firmly believe in shopping your vote around in a manner that’s outwardly erratic and unpredictable throughout the day. If people try to call your bluff and not respond to your vote then you can always just park on them and whip votes their way.
It’s especially important to my style because I’m not a particularly good analyst or solver in mafia, especially without meta knowledge. But I am good at doing weird shit that helps the good analysts figure things out.
I think I would try to replicate it as mafia and I would probably be caught instantly lol.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
You state this as if you think the two options are similarly likely. What makes you think I may be scum? Is your opinion of my town game really so low that you think scum me would fear kill demon N1 because he scumread me?damo666 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 5:31 pm@Chaqa if you are right this would indicate a more experienced scum team. A less experienced scum team might imply #2 (which is why I was voting celaph).Chaqa wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 5:27 pmI've been thinking a bit about the RHK kill. I read through all of his posts, and while I'd like a second and third opinion, I don't see anything that immediately jumps out as crumbing or hinting at being a PR. Here's a link to his ISO if anyone wants to check me:
http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?us ... t=d1-&g=63
So, I suspect two possible motivations for his NK:
1. Low-information kill on a *possible* PR, since he was low profile
2. Removing someone driving suspicion on a possible scum player (bran and celaph)
I suspect #1. Most of the "usual" N1 kills are under suspicion (HR, Vecna, rivera, ghug, etc.) so I think that would explain this kill as RHK is scary late game.
Conclusion: both are possible.
This hasn't helped much, has it?
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
back in the old games, like M1-M11 it was pretty uncommon for a player to post over 150 times a game

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
If you look at ND's past 2 scum games, you will see why ND was a good D1 wagon. In M49, he was subbed at the end of D1 and he replacement lasted until the end of the game in a mafia victory. In M39, he survived until D7 and was the last surviving scum. Or, you could look at M62, where bo_sox asked for a sub D1 as scum, or M61, where Durga asked for a sub D1 as scum. In M61, Durga's replacement also survived until the end of the game in a mafia victory.

Am I reading this right?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 5:33 pmIf you were following we have a pretty long interaction that make feel that is possible he reacted that way as town. I also liked his analysis on Bona and want to see if he would vote for him or was just throwing shade and not following (something I think is a scumtell from him).President Eden wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 4:28 pmI quite plainly did not ask you to do that. Your filter for day 2 sounds very convinced that HR is mafia up until this post of mine. I hardly think it unreasonable to expect you to push a clear mafia suspect.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 10:22 am
Because it's D2? Because HR made some decent posts today that made me feel that I might be wrong about him?
I don't think tunneling just to prove I can yell louder then him is the way to play as town.
What of his posts changed your mind?
All in all, he is still on my scum list, with Bona and Celaph and Brain as a distant forth.
I have few solid townreads (Jamiet, Damo, Eden and Aaro) and this is worrying me.
You're top 4 scum list from most to least scummy would be:
HR
Bona
Me (Celaph)
Brain
Care to explain what why I'm the third scummiest person this game?

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
This is some surprisingly bad math from you. If you read what I said, I did not imply the probability of a player asking for a sub D1 was 1.0.
