And, as a matter of a starting point in letting you all know where I stand, there is this:
Reads as of D2. Definitely fluid and not ossified.
Tier 1 (would definitely not kill): President Eden, Jamie, myself
Tier 2 (would need a very convincing case to kill): aaro, worcej/durga, RDR
Tier 3 (ambivalent, could kill, could keep alive): bona, bozo, brain, celaph, damo, flum, emc, ghug, HR,
Tier 4 (remove them already): bunny, chaqa, donny, vecna

President Eden and Jamie: both fervent, big writing with explicit details, hammering for information. Emotion.

Aaro: questioning, exploring the conflict between others’ reads and their own feelings (see ghug). Post on page 128 is well thought-out. Really could see them up to tier 1.

Worcej: I think I was town-reading Durga; no, I definitely was. Her bailing out isn’t scum-indicative. She cut ties with our Webdip World team. However, Worcej gets the benefit of the doubt to at least get through another day or two. Sorry to hear about the Covid. That sucks. Rest up, heal up.

RDR: self-admittedly never a big “pusher” and that’s true here. I feel like RDR’s game really is to watch, draw their own conclusions, then press forward in that manner. Same is happening here. Challenging assumptions. Not a scum vibe from them and if I’m wrong, then I really have no business in this game. Jamie's suggestion in the post about HR voting has me second-guessing myself. Worth digging into.

Bona: need to dig more into the hate they are getting. Close to me in terms of post volume, so that isn’t scum indicative. Not getting depth in the posts though, so somewhat forgettable. This position might be changing.

Bozo: drives me crazy; pulled the coloured font business. Usually comes in with a big analytical reason for a decision, or to refute town’s decisions. Not seeing it thus far, but I think they’re a mid-game person. So, still waiting.

Celaph: questioning, commenting, good post on page 123. But…

Damo: feels different this game, can’t put my finger on it. Strong conviction (?) that D1 subs are scum.

Flum: nothing. Not a lot of digging from what I can read.

EMC: nothing. Daddy posts. Seems disinterested.

Ghug: Not sure what I am reading from them. Need to go back to some D2 posts that caught my eye, but right now, very null.

HR: Their D2 seems unremarkable, but I am interested in their Bona take. After some questioning, might shift HR up to 2 or down to 4.


Donny: standout is the D1 VCA moving to Maniac like they did. Getting a lot of asking for others’ reads instead of doing the work themselves. Not really putting themselves out there, which could be scum or PR play.

Chaqa: they should probably be in tier 3 but what stands out to me is naming players as scum without offering an explanation, not asking them questions. Opportunistic. Wondering why they remained on a vanity wagon. That looks suspicious.

Bunny: heavy-hitting day 1 with confrontational posts then disappearing into life. I get it. But the immediate shift in tone seems off to me; are they thinking, “I keep pushing like this I’m going to draw suspicion? Disappear then tone it down, rabbit.” We’ll see how the remainder of D2 goes.

Vecna: Bunny Go is locked in my basement. Usually strong and thoughtful play. This isn’t it.

Why do you say the mafia would prefer a Maniac DK then conclude I am scum?

I did not want to DK ND to prevent a sub, I thought he would be a reasonable DK because he was allowing himself to be subbed by not meeting the voting requirement.

Not to burst your bubble, but your theory is wrong. I was contacted before EOD and asked to enter at EOD because I was busy.

If this is true, it supports my theory that ND was deliberately subbed because it implies he requested a sub during D1, just like bo_sox in M62 and Durga in M61. The basis for this theory is that scum are more likely than town to request a sub D1 if they are not able to keep up because their low participation would have a more significant adverse effect on their team as scum than as town.

Do you realize that ND would enjoy the opportunity to play scum?

You're putting all your eggs in the basket that ND would sub out as scum, where ND would actually just lurk and stick around because he enjoys being scum.

You're awkwardly talking too much about how you have notes again, when that was the reason you were townread by people last game. It feels forced.

To be brutally honest I don't really have any real reason to scumread HR. I'm kind of just trolling him.

This is not good post because one is trolling and the other one is not really true when I looked it up. And that being the sole reason feels weak from flum.
His progression on HB goes from scumread to something unclear to tunnelling hb to scumreading HB for D2. I can't tell if this is legitamite or not because even the tunnel post says lets tunnel HB so both of flums kill options are one is trolling and the other is what I have described.

I'm not sure what to make of the whole business about ghug and the flavor name. He doesn't feel the same to me, so I'm more inclined to scumread him for it.

You and rdr didn't really have an apparent reason to stop scumreading each other and then to start attacking me so quickly. I don't like it.

I've been thinking a bit about the RHK kill. I read through all of his posts, and while I'd like a second and third opinion, I don't see anything that immediately jumps out as crumbing or hinting at being a PR. Here's a link to his ISO if anyone wants to check me:

So, I suspect two possible motivations for his NK:

1. Low-information kill on a *possible* PR, since he was low profile
2. Removing someone driving suspicion on a possible scum player (bran and celaph)

I suspect #1. Most of the "usual" N1 kills are under suspicion (HR, Vecna, rivera, ghug, etc.) so I think that would explain this kill as RHK is scary late game.

I actually a theory on what happened

Durga and ND started out as scum together. Obviously that was not going to work out and result in unfun times, so ND just dipped out. Then when Worcej was the replacement Durga just went "fuck that shit".

I mean, to be perfectly honest - there was zero drama in this thread from me towards her and I had been townreading her anyways. And, quite frankly, I would've talked with her about this on N1 and setup some scum~theater~ if we were scum together.

In regards to 'drama' in this game, that's all on her. I have a theory for why she brought it in here, but simply it didn't need to be and was foolish to do so.

One bad analysis based on 2 years of RL time between them (bozo), damo sheeping it, and Vecna also thinking bozo's bad analysis means he's town.

I have yet to see why I have the other two, getting to that point.
