Also I’m less scared of ghug and bozo tunneling on me now. I still don’t want it but seeing how wrong they were last game (and in general how wrong town is) makes me feel less stress about making wrong readsaarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:07 amI think I’m going to worse thing game because only having one game to go on is a lot of bias.Fluminator wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:02 amAaro what did you learn from your last game? In general, I got scumread for being wishy washy last game with reads so I’m making my post to actually commit to things.

Yeah, maybe Aaro is town. I thought he felt more careful and more lurky, but he answers posts instantly lol.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
I check the game a lot on my phone when I shouldn't. That's why I'm on top of responding to posts but I still have 7 people left to write comments about in the long post I'm compiling.Fluminator wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:34 amYeah, maybe Aaro is town. Also, this is going to stop tomorrow. I'm going back to work after a long medical leave, and I can't afford to be sidetracked my mafia too much. I'll be super responsive outside of work hours (and I'll make sure I'm free around EOD when I can) still. I promise this is NAI, and I wrote in the signup post that this was happening.

Everything he said earlier about how his play was changing from the previous game felt so earnest too.Fluminator wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:34 amYeah, maybe Aaro is town. I thought he felt more careful and more lurky, but he answers posts instantly lol.

I'm slow on the uptake tonight, this IS you doing a bit about tunneling yea? If not then pretend I gave you a blank stare and asked "why?"ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:48 amNo he's obviously scumPresident Eden wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:21 amI want to townread you for this so bad.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:08 am

Good point. I'm town and I'm currently between internships.
Good enough for me. Sorry aaro ya gotta go!
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
I think this is a fair criticism.worcej wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 1:46 amThat was D1 that, we are now on D2 and he expressed similar laziness. That's the beef I have with it.celaph wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 1:12 amI don't think that ghug makes for a good kill today.
Rereading town PR ghug from last game I felt that much of his play now aligns with his play this game. He was very open that his D1 vote last game was more for someone he didn't want to play with than for someone who was particularly scummy. He
said as much.
On second consideration, I think I was focused on the wrong thing in ghug's iso. I still believe that his conviction in his votes is reminiscent of last game, but I think his tendency to ask questions is different. The last time ghug asked a substantive question that didn't directly pertain to himself was at start of D2 assuming I didn't miss anything. I'm starting to like the ghug wagon.
@ghug you said earlier that you wanted to focus on building town reads. How is that process going for you? Who do you want to here more from? Why aren't you questioning people?

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
It's going alright. I've actually always found being widely scumread to be the best way to build townreads. I've sorted several of the people seriously scumreading me into piles based on how they're approaching me, and I've gleaned some nuggets from the people defending me too. That's probably why my questioning appears more focused on me.celaph wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 4:01 amI think this is a fair criticism.worcej wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 1:46 amThat was D1 that, we are now on D2 and he expressed similar laziness. I'd like to hear more from everyone under Chaqa on the bot. Most of my strong reads are above that threshold.

FWIW, man it is painful to not be able to edit posts... I always have so many grammar errors or accidental double words in my posts...
