Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
@ghug I have a summary of PE's post, but I'd suggest just reading it. It felt very good and imo very towny.
President Eden wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 7:52 amConclusions/TLDR
- Hellenic Riot very likely town
- If ND is also town then the stagnant ND wagon looks like the safe place for mafia to camp while shading the other wagons, which at least had a relatively high investment level. The Maniac wagon was also fine though, and mostly mafia would just pick whatever is safe and consistent.
- If ND is mafia then the Maniac wagon is where they ended up. Bussing is possible, but we can catch out bussers later when they don't start dying like they should. ND voters are probably town here.
- Demon is fine I was wrong earlier
- Chaqa town
- Jamie, Donny Dude, Bonatogether sus
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
I feel like you could have said all of that with about half the words. Tryharding is tourny when you're chasing a scent, but you're not even drawing new conclusions on people.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE

Who was sussing Jamie before I posted? There’s been passing mentions of Donny and Bona but no one has pushed on either of them too much. (And I’ll acknowledge I didn’t push on Bona much either... yet)
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
I assumed you already had all of those (plus a Demon one, which did evolve).President Eden wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 8:12 am

Your wagon analysis isn't leading to anything. Better?
Did you know that you picked two relative noobs and Jamie to scumread?

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
Thoughts
Unless Nd is scum, I don't see the start of the HR wagon as being something scum would push unless there was some other concern of theirs at first. Maniac and nd were pretty much at an even split. Even then, maniac was still a viable candidate so no need to kick a third wagon into motion. This plus Hr looking townish to me means that this may have been a tv?vt. Although worcej's slot will hopefully become more able to be defined and help solve. Though this could change emc and brainbomb are more likely to be town than not from vc and above. I think even if nd is scum, maniac still had a viable chance anyways so the third one. I think if nd/worcej is town then this theory of mine does not hold as much weight. IT also assumes hr is town, but if scum then not pushed by scum on hr.
I think this has been said, but the nd and maniac wagons should be looked at in more detail.

Not yet it isn’t. I could easily have written an obiwanobiwan level tome if I had infinite energy to analyze everything on day 1.ghug wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 8:15 amI assumed you already had all of those (plus a Demon one, which did evolve).President Eden wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 8:12 am

I didn’t “pick” suspects. I reread, and assessed my gut reactions from EOD, and confirmed a couple of suspicions while discarding another.

Idk I'm probably just unimpressed with your style again. It appealed to me more when I was also a tryhardy teenager.

Why are you disparaging my post by calling it low effort?worcej wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:56 amIs this a low effort attempt to scum read my slot because it happened once before?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:48 amAnother interesting thing I noticed about M49 is that D1 came down to me vs. ND
where ND was scum. ND had the lowest D1 post count, was absent at EOD, and never posted again after D1, being replaced N1. Also, his replacement survived until the end of the game.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
Yes, I think it might be, between the correlation of scum subbing out D1 and the similarities of ND's D1 to his D1 in M49.worcej wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:57 amLooks like I got my question answered.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:54 amYes, ND had not voted so he knew he was going to get subbed, so getting subbed for not meeting the voting requirement could have been his way of avoiding asking to be subbed D1 as scum have done in the past 2 games.
Is this the best theory you have to push atm bozo?
Also, you making a priority of trying to discredit ND voters does not look good:

Sorry, I do not understand what you are asking here.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 7:35 amBozo does you latest at the time of writing this post prove or dissprove your nd theory?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:54 amYes, ND had not voted so he knew he was going to get subbed, so getting subbed for not meeting the voting requirement could have been his way of avoiding asking to be subbed D1 as scum have done in the past 2 games.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
Strongest townreads: PE HR Chaqa Jamie
Scumreads: none yet
In isolation I don't think we can learn that much from D1 voting. However if we flip Worcej that could be very helpful so in the absence of any major event I will be voting worcej tomorrow assuming I survive the night.
If you are vt Worcej I know you will understand. I am gambling you are not town PR (I'm hoping ND would have made more of an effort).

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
In fact if Vecna is not the NK he may be an interesting counter wagon to Worcej.
