I have mixed feelings on Brain and Bunny.

Because that is what he usually does.

It's probably just an experience difference then, but I don't recall any bozo surveys D1 last game.

Random lobbies are trash for sure. Gotta have a crew to play with. We do voice chat for the meetings, which makes it reminiscent (though not the same as) f2f mafia.

@all: brainbomb stepped up for the last few pgs, but I still wanna space him because I'm still pretty sure he's mafia from earlier interactions. Nothing he did to step up is outside his range and his start was still suspicious.
RE: brainbomb's point about lurkers - it's true that mafia have generally occupied the space just above hardcore lurking in our metagame recently, and it makes sense to double back and check on those slots in the last several hours before EOD1. But it doesn't make sense to be worrying about lurkers less than a day into a game starting right before New Year's Eve, as lurking is much more likely than normal to be NAI right now. Especially when there are active players to press on things!

Yes there is a reason.

Rule 1 - later on in the game (assuming my scum buddies don’t bus me and I survive that long) I can just pick someone who wasted their votes early on. Saves me the hassle of reading the thread and putting much effort in.

Random games suck, the fun part is playing with people you know (i.e. voice chat), so it's essentially f2f mafia.

The introductory blurb says talking during the game is not allowed except in the chat when there's a vote. So, when you say voice chat, do you mean then?

Yes, people often pair a game with a zoom or discord stream to chat via voice.

My initial reaction is that Bunny was playing different than last game so this intrigues me. What similarities in play are you seeing?

Bunny to me is always quite intense, responds quickly to details, doesn't always see the big picture until he takes a break.
