Hydra Mafia

Its technically called Team Mafia but I dont see why terminology is a big deal. A hydra is where one slot has multiple players all sharing their opinion on the game. Its a fairly popular idea on most mafia sites. The only caveat is here each team member has to sub in.

I have spoken to players from mu, thecenter, mafiascum and mini mafia. Its possible that teams may form from cross community places in this game. So many new faces could be joining. Also we established that the games meant for 9 teams of 3. But if demand surges we can up it to 11

This isn’t necessarily a hydra think of it more as a team.

The setup consist of 9 team “slots.”

Each team will have 3 members who rotate in and out each day.

The team will be allowed to talk amongst each other 24/7 and the mafia teams will also be allowed to talk to each other 24/7.

You are allowed to reference a teammates game play who has rotated out but when it comes to voting you are voting on the slot not the player.

You can talk with the player who’s currently representing the team but not the players who aren’t currently in the game.

For example:

Team A consist of players A, B, and C
Team B consist of players D, E, and F

Team A decided that they want player A to go in first followed by C and then B. Day 1 Player A will represent Team A’s. Assuming they survive the day Night 1, Player A will be subbed out and Player B will be subbed in to represent Team A. During this entire game Player A, B, and C can talk freely.

If Team B wanted to vote Team A they would vote whoever is representing that team because the slot is shared.

Its a bit silly because at least a few people will die without being able to actually ever play, but because your team has its own chat, you can still be involved. Worst case scenario you don't like it - but because its really only a 9 "player" game it will go fast.
