Brainbomb had attempted to get people to change to Maniac at about T-15 minutes. Nobody had shown any interest in doing so.kgray wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:06 pmThat was within a minute of both Hamilton and me moving to ND. I don't think there was no chance of Maniac dying at that point.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 7:57 pm@kgray
Why do you think damo's vote for Maniac 3 minutes out from EoD1 when Maniac's wagon was dead and there was zero prospect whatsoever of him actually getting flipped makes Maniac look good?

Well, he did vote for teacon. That's a reason.kgray wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:04 pmI'm not interested in moral high ground and I don't think it's delusional. I'm tempted to think last scum is Bona, personally. Though, I wonder if he wouldn't have conceded... but that's all WIFOM and probably bad to think about.
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
I don't care, ignore me. That's basically what you've been doing this entire game anyway.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:06 pmAre you going to engage with my questions about Maniac or should I just ignore you entirelykgray wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:04 pmI'm not interested in moral high ground and I don't think it's delusional. After multiple days of arguing why scum would tell the truth on their hypoclaims, you think I lied about who I saved for shits and giggles?
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
I do think Maniac's jump on celaph yesterday was sort of opportunistic. His reason was for celaph's D1 vote, and it didn't hold up when you looked at what the wagons were at time. But he moved to damo when I pointed out that damo is the one who'd actually done what he was scumreading celaph for. Maybe he'd just given up, but I'd expect damo's partner to have found a "better" reason to scumread celaph that didn't lead him into voting his teammate after just one question.

@Maniac, who do you think the last scum is?

I was memeing.
Tom doesn't want us talking about it because he wants to confuse the scum in the nightkills (even though it will probably make a miniscule difference in anything) but I'm willing to humour him as he's on death door.
I still have Maniac and Bona as the highest likelihood to be scum so I'm fine with it.

Likelihood last scum was a primary or secondary voter on the damo wagon?

Your belief that scum wouldn’t bus damo I think is dangerous. There is certainly a rationale that scum would be more likely to bus the more desperate they became. And bussing someone who was likely to be wagoned as part of POE makes the most sense.Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:43 pmLikelihood we had BOTH scum on the block yesterday?Fluminator wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:41 pmI was memeing.

From a VCA perspective, celaph could still easily be scum, but in behavior he is super townie. I don't think he would be fighting so hard to survive if it was scum vs. scum.Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:43 pmLikelihood we had BOTH scum on the block yesterday?Fluminator wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:41 pmI was memeing.

I guess I can analyze the next question more closely.

I would agree, but it's quite coincidental that all my townreads prior to the damo wagon were the ones that ended up on him.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:47 pmYour belief that scum wouldn’t bus damo I think is dangerous. I DO think damo was bussed. I think Maniac is likely innocent. That's why I'm asking about these things, and about this whole mess with HR/Balki. I'm trying to make sure we don't throw this game.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 8:47 pmYour belief that scum wouldn’t bus damo I think is dangerous. For me, I'd like to flip Bona, and if he is innocent, then start figuring out who the busser is. If we flip Maniac, I get it, but I've thought he was innoecent ever since the Teacon flip.

Both HR and Balki voted celaph

No you didn't, you scumread Maniac all of D2 lol
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
I legitimately townread everyone to some degree at this point, so whoever it is has done a good job.

Which is part of the reason I'm not so quick to clear them both. The non-Priest (Balki, I guess) could be scum.
