Tom, did you miss the Balki cc to HR's PR?
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
aaro voted for ND before teacon was in any real danger. I don't think it looks like he was saving teacon.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 9:10 pmA small part of my mind is wary of aaro.
I worry they brought up the vote count analysis to try to get out ahead and drive the discussion considering D1 looks not great for them.
That being said, everything else they say and have done have been pretty towny.
I’m just struggling to find anyone who attempted to save teacon D1 that isn’t aaro or kgray (sorta Balki, but not really).

Yes. Poor word choice on my part. I guess I was just looking at ND voters versus teacon voters. He didn’t “save” teacon like your vote - but he also was on a counterwagon to scum.kgray wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 9:13 pmaaro voted for ND before teacon was in any real danger. Yeah, I mean killing ND is usually a noble cause in mafia.
I think HR/Balki will get sorted as priority number 1.
Depending on how that goes my best guess would be Maiac, then Bono then celaph.

EoN notes:
Not many changes from EoD. Exceptions:
Balki: Either very clean or scum who just wants to vote out HR before conceding.
HR: Either scum, VT, or priest. All 3 have immediate implications for Balki, I suggest voting out HR now.
If I die for some weird reason, sheep Tom. I think the kill order should probably be: HR, Maniac, Chaqa, then Bona.

If I die that will be very funny.
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
I really don't think it's Maniac because of damo's D1 vote and Chaqa's point that scum (imo at least damo?) would probably have moved to ND more if Maniac was also scum with teacon. And I think I also give Chaqa town points for pointing that out.
Still very strongly think bozo and aaro are town. Celaph seems really towny to me also. I think that damo would have been pretty inactive near EOD regardless of who his counterwagon was, so I don't think his late jump to celaph implicates celaph.
I'll probably never not be suspicious of ghug but his last-second vote for damo makes him look pretty good. And I do feel like we're solving the same puzzle but there are enough differences in our perspectives that I don't think he's just faking his views and pocketing me (even though he does like taking credit for things I've already said).
I've been a bit worried about Flum here and there because I think he'd be capable of seeming really towny as scum, and there were a few things that felt like he was trying to blend in, like when he said that he thought everyone who was talking that one evening was town. But him trying to catch yoyo off-guard with "bozo's scan" when two scum had already been outed was really convincingly towny. And Durga and Vecna both thought Flum was town too.
I'm still kinda null on bona, but I was lazy today and didn't reread him. His stubbornness in continuing to scumread celaph seems towny, and I think that if he were damo's partner he wouldn't have reacted to damo being the DK the way he did.
I don't really know what to make of Balki's super late priest CC but I think the final scum is one of Balki/HR. They both resisted the damo DK and I'm not sure who looks worse - HR for using his "townclear" status to lazily push celaph out of nowhere and defend damo, or Balki for sheeping him (especially after HR allegedly fake claimed his role). If I'm alive after tonight I'll try to think through scum/town motivations for their claims. If I'm not, then that's fine because there are lots of more experienced players to sort that out. But I'm suspicious of both of them, although if Balki doesn't retract his claim then I'd be pretty confident in DKing HR.

Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
The Republic’s first responders rush to the scene of Tom Bombadil’s home.
“Damn, too late again,” says one of the guards. “We’ve killed so many of these damn fascists. How do they keep striking first?”
“I don’t know, but we need to move him, quick,” says a second, gesturing to Tom. Tom stoically lies propped against a wall, trying to hold in the urge to scream in pain from the multiple gunshot wounds his would-be killer inflicted.
“I thought we weren’t supposed to move people until a medic arrives?” responds a third.
“We don’t have time,” replies the first. “We’ve got to get him to Medical, now.”
The guards begin to pick Tom up, but the pain is too much, and Tom yells as he sinks back to the floor.
“Ah crap, what do we do now?”
“THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO NOW,” booms a chorus of voices from outside the door. The guards go outside and see a group of people in priest robes standing outside!
“WE ARE THE HIGH PRIESTS OF MARX!” declares the crowd of “priests” in unison. “WE ARE HERE TO ADMINISTER THE LAST RITES TO OUR FALLEN HERO.”
“OK, but I thought there was only one priest,” says a guard. “Whichever one of you it is can go in there.”
“WE ARE STILL FIGURING THAT OUT,” the priests reply.
“Are we? It’s clear I am the priest,” says one.
“No, I am the priest!” says another.
“Well, I am an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church, and so is everyone in my family,” responds a third.
The “priests” begin bitterly arguing amongst themselves as to which one of them is qualified to conduct the last rites. One “priest” in the group slips into Tom’s home while everyone else is distracted.
“I’m so sorry for the added stress in this trying time,” says the priest to Tom. “I can’t help you with this life, but I can help you prepare for the next.”
“Thank you,” Tom says, holding back pain and fear. “I’d like that.”

I guess we wait to see if either HR or Balki both stick with their claim.
