I've been wondering about this in general. Whenever I reread someone, I almost always decide they're scum until I realize I'm just looking for confirmation, not looking at it objectively.

Confirmation bias is a really natural instinct in these games, I think because there's so much time to stew on a hunch and so much game to read through for evidence.

My strategy is to only reread on scum flips, and never read anyone in full isolation (add their name and common nicknames in the bot search and check the "enough if one true" box).

I usually end up in massive tunnels anyway. If Flum were town, he'd probably have noticed that I didn't have a dominant early game tunnel this game.

Do you actually think Flum is scum?

Lets just say HR is lucky he saved someone because I would have assumed there was no priest otherwise and he was doing a scum gambit.

I actually considered a tinfoil theory where scum didn't get the max number of PRs so they assumed that town didn't either and scum!HR gambled on there not being a CC and claimed priest - right up until I hit preview and realized that we already had confirmed priest because Durga survived for an extra day.

You did a similar thing with Flum, and with me and damo, and it's a pretty common pattern for you in general. Have you ever started one of those rereads and found something that convinced you to townread the person instead?

I still do not like Balki's vote movement D1 EOD, and I think it is possible he agreed to vote BunnyGo with kgray to pull her vote off of teacon.

(1) How come you put my teacon vote in the middle? That's the one I casted last. That's the one that counted.

(2) Talk me through my strategy on pulling kgray off of teacon. Why wouldn't I just stay on BunnyGo if that is what I was up to? Wouldn't I think, after BunnyGo didn't...er, go...that kgray would go back to teacon? Did I leave the BunnyGo wagon first or did kgray? (I actually don't remember, but it seems like this might be something you would have looked at?)

Seems like for your theory to hold, I would have pried kgray off of teacon to bunnygo, and then stayed there, right? Also, if that's what I'm thinking, then I would be highly concerned about kgray moving back to teacon, wouldn't I? After I cast my teacon vote, there were something like five more posts that got in before EOD. Wouldn't I be expecting a kgray vote for teacon to be one of them?

What would be the point of me actively moving one of the teacon votes, just to replace it with my own teacon vote? Wouldn't a better strategy for that be to sit back and enjoy the beach and ignore you weirdos?

tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if someone else priest claims at some point.

If there is a priest CC, they just claim now and we kill them then HR. One of those two must be the last scum so we win. Any cc after tonight is just automatically scum.
