Is there any drawback to Durga revealing Y ?

Upside is we have a good discussion point (does this increase the likelihood X is scum or not)

Downside - can't think of one top of my head

Why didn't you consider that Durga revealing Y would tell the mafia which one of their PRs was tracked?

IIrc at the time we did not know if X was jailer or scum. Yes, revealing Y would tell scum X had been tracked (if X was scum). I don't see that bit of knowledge a few hours in advance of when it was going to be revealed anyway makes that much difference.

In response to the discussion about my interactions with Durga and the trouble she has had from ND & WorceJ this game.

I consider myself a feminist and supporter of trans rights. I believe trans men are men and train women are women if that is how they wish to identify and that non-binary genders are valid.

Someone mentioned I was the first to call out gendered insults against Durga previously. In truth I don't recall this or if it was in game or in another forum.

I have several trans friends and often formal meetings I attend start with people introducing themselves and their pronouns. One trans friend has said to me recently that it would be good if cis gendered allies would start this rather that non-binary people carrying the emotional heavy lifting. Hence why I started listing my pronouns in the sign-up.

On D1 I thought that ND and Durga might have been scum engaging in theatrics or Scum Durga might have been using ND's abrasiveness. Had I been on EOD D1 I would've voted ND when choice came between ND and Teacon. As it was I was absent and didn't shift my vote.

It is true that I didn't defend Durga from WorceJ's attack. Durga seems more than capable of dealing with personal attacks and I didn't think me white knighting would help. I did call out inappropriate language when I hardclaimed GM but specifically did want to tone police Durga's response. I've been informed that people suffering abusive language aren't helped by allies asking them to 'calm down', 'not be emotional' etc. Durga and others should be free to express themselves how they see fit in the face of offensive remarks that have a gender/race/disability discriminatory overtone. I did politely request that any debate should be conducted elsewhere, but I didn't want to silence or tone police anyone.

Anyhooo - some things are more important that mafia games. To me feminism and gender debate is more important and I will comment or not comment irrespective of my alignment.

I never wanted to imply that you were being a bad ally or anything in even that ballpark because you voted Durga btw. I don't think you took it that way but just in case.

I think your whole thought process is flawed on the "if you were jailer who would you visit" thing. You specifically said if you were jailer. If I were a town PR (or even a scum one) I would not have given my real visits. I would have given who I would have visited if I was the jailer.

I'm not sure if this weird logic is scummy or usual Bozo insanity.

Taking out my townreads, if this theory is correct Bona and damo are increased chances to be scum. I doubt I'll have time to do a deep check on scum ISOs on how much they shaded people without voting them. (Like Teacon put damo as one of his top scumreads in his eon posts, even though he didn't vote him)
