@Bozo
Why do you think scum-ghug doesn't go along with me on Flum here?

Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
Scenarios quite a bit different.
D1 tends to be more swings. 2 hours left with several wagons at 2 votes each. Safer place to bus. Time to move if needed, less likely bussed wagon takes off.
D2 vote on Balki was only an hour left and put Balki at 4. We also know HB was town. I suspect kgray is town but could be wrong. More dangerous place to bus there. Plus, scum were already down which I think makes bussing less likely (though I understand the idea of a deep threat - I just don’t think Bunny would be the ideal choice to be a deep threat)

You literally said "Follow thy clear, all aboard, toot toot"Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:04 pmI don't expect any such thing, and made it very clear when Balki hinted that he'd do that that would not be acceptable. My claim stopped there being 2 days of nonsensical replaying of the same scenario over and over again between myself & Flum. I am not going to use it to repeatedly make the same points without him being able to respond. I've said as much as I am willing to on Flum, and so there is no stupid argument for scum to blend into. The rest of you can now look into it knowing that I'm town, and come up with your own conclusions.

Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
Okay. Any reason why you don't think it makes sense for Flum to be the smuggler?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:05 pmdamo and Fluminator were my top scum reads, and with damo as smuggler making sense, I would like to see damo flip today because it could implicate ghug. Yoyoyozo flipping scum is what made the difference.kgray wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 9:47 pmYes I saw it, but it doesn't explain why you're more compelled by that than by your previous case against Flum when it is based on hypotheticals.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 7:43 pm
For some reason? Didn't you read my post about damo being the smuggler? If damo is the smuggler, ghug is likely the last goon, so in that regard, my scum read of Fluminator is weakened. If damo is town or a goon, then not as much.

I mean, you were lying so yeah. He blew up at you. That's NAI.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:07 pmI did exactly that during the next night phase, at which point Flum blew up at me.kgray wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:06 pmI'm not saying it was scummy, I'm saying it was terrible. If it was so crucial in forming his read of Flum, why not admit that it was a reaction test and push Flum sooner?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:03 pm
I don't see any scum motivation for what HR was doing, he obviously was not being serious with his extreme damo town read.

Tomorrow I think we should contain our votes to these 4 plus Maniac.

Which never actually happens in a forum mafia on this site, let alone 47 hours ahead of an EOD in a hammerless game. But it was worth it to pressure Flum.kgray wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:09 pmYou literally said "Follow thy clear, all aboard, toot toot"Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:04 pmI don't expect any such thing, and made it very clear when Balki hinted that he'd do that that would not be acceptable. Now, enough about me. I claimed so that we didn't repeat this shite ad infinitum and waste another day in toxic squabbling. Much though I usually love talking about myself, it isn't going to help us in the slightest - And there's much more useful stuff to talk about

This is possibly true, but we already know this scumteam absolutely loves bussing. So far we have:Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:09 pmScenarios quite a bit different.

So further bussing would seem perfectly in-tune with the way the scum were playing the early game here

Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
I suppose the question is whether they'd become more reticent to bus after teacon got shot, but the way Jamie was going after Yoyo doesn't really suggest that to be the case...
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
I'm actually really annoyed with how lots of people (HR cough cough) ignored my scumread of damo ealier when he was doing super shady scummy things like sitting on the sidelines at a TvT EoD and watching Hamilton almost die, and now that he's doing his more normal town!damo stuff like declaring townclears and changing his reads without reasons people are saying "oh, he's just imitating his town game."
##vote damo because of the earlier stuff, not because of whatever you all are scumreading him for.

@Bozo
What do you think about the way ghug called out Jamie at the start of D3, prior to the guilty claims?

Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
Jamie did lay off of yoyo and Flum called him out on it. It's what started the conversation that caused Durga to track Jamie.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:21 pmI suppose the question is whether they'd become more reticent to bus after teacon got shot, but the way Jamie was going after Yoyo doesn't really suggest that to be the case...

If we're listing reasons I'm amazing, can we reexamine my pressuring Bunny to claim his jails with the added knowledge that there wasn't a real communicator?Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:23 pm@Bozo

This seems like an aggressive reaction to me. Is this normal for Maniac?
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
Also Flum advocating for everyone to vote Yoyo at the beginning of day 3 so he'd come back and freak out looks pretty good now.
