What changed your mind about Balki D2?

I don't really know. Obviously it was that conversation with HR but I don't know what it was specifically. I've been feeling like Balki is off this whole game and I keep going back and forth on whether or not that's scummy. I just have a hard time seeing Balki's scumgame as disengaged. I feel like he'd be more active and subtly manipulative or something. But I don't really have anything to base that on.

The reason I found this suspicious is that BunnyGo made a case against Balki and you dismissed it, but HR convinced you to vote for Balki.

Alright, well I don't have a good answer for you then. I dismissed Bunny's case as being proof of scum!Balki, yes, although I did agree with some of Bunny's points. And I'm not going to pretend like I wouldn't be more convinced by HR than by Bunny, especially when I was scumreading Bunny.

This is my take as well. I dislike Balki's absence, but I can't see it being scum indicative. The way he played without as much analysis or reads when he was here more strikes me as more odd, but I think the interactions with flipped scum look good.

I don't know, probably because emc was there and I was townreading him? I was considering switching to teacon and I wanted to know if he would too.

Looking in a vacuum I find Flums ask of me to compare to really long ISOs for something he could have said in 5 seconds to be potentially scum trying to distract a townclear from doing anything useful before his death.

I wanted to see if it was just me who saw it. I guess it was, so it might have been a case of tunnel syndrome.

Yeah, if you were lying about what you meant it's because you were afraid that using the word "goon" to refer to non-PR scum was giving away more info than you should have if you were just a new town player. So quickly denying that and instead saying you just meant "goon" as in general bad guy definitely looks sketchy, because we know you knew what that term meant based on your previous posts.

Can you point out where he used the term before?

I used it in my post analyzing teacon's EoN post, and I used it again in N2. My only other uses were in this whole mess.

The more I look at this, the more it bothers me about why Bunny lied about who he visited.

As a smuggler, sure, there's an excellent reason not to tell the truth (if you're guilty you give away your teammates). But Bunny was the blackmailer. He visited EMC and Someone. He knew if he was guiltied then one of those would be cleared anyway. Why bother lying? What on earth is the motivation to risk not being able to fish the jailer out?
