I haven’t done my rereading yet, and to be completely honest, I have no sort of reading in them. I’m voting for two reasons here: 1) I haven’t voted yet and even though I’m planning on posting a lot before EOD, I want to have a placeholder vote and 2) I’m not against voting people because of their behavior.

It's still pretty suspicious to me how you avoided teacon D1 when I asked you about him.

How did I avoid? I said that he was not very towny but given my time away and possible circumstance for him avoiding the thread, I was willing to give him a day and vote him today as there would be enough time for it to be more clear whether it was for emotional reasons or alignment reasons he was so reticent.

You were actively posting at the time and when I said that damo wasn't going to happen and asked you about teacon, your response was more delayed than your other posts. I felt like the question made you uncomfortable.

I also don't think your "emotional reasons" explanation for his behavior made sense. You said it was based on him and xorxes tunneling in a previous game but that doesn't sound like it's very comparable to this game.

And you'd indicated that you found him suspicious prior to my question, but in answering my question you gave excuses for his play not causing you to townread him, and then 10 minutes later you backtracked and said his game does look really different. But you still didn't consider voting for him.

I'd like you to explain what you meant about Brain 'obviously teasing something' when he spent about 20 minutes of the last hour doing his best to convince me to re-vote (and others to vote you for the first time) you at EoD1

Given the sudden flip, I assumed that he was looking for a reaction or a jump from someone who'd take the opportunity to get off leading wagons. Not many people had put out concrete reads on me at that time, and the few that were there tended to be null-lean-town with exception of you. Decided to not engage with it so I'd not overtly influence it one way or other.

Good players are wrong all the time. Good players can also be scum. Accepting HR's townread of damo as a reason not to vote for him is lazy and/or scummy.

The reason not to vote for him is that I don't want this game to end up like last game, where we opened by daykilling three of the most competent townies in four days and paid for it.

I scumread damo, but I'm often wrong early. The one daykill in those first four last game that wasn't a competent townie was a miskill on my gamelong tunnel. I think it's better for town if we gamble on someone who won't hurt as much if we're wrong.

Day 2, votes for me, but also suggests Flum and Yoyo as potential targets. Declares that Vecna isn't a POE of theirs.

Night 1: gets into it with ghug on the difference between smug and frustrated

Day 1: Voted for ghug to end the day. While they seemed to have a strong D1, I think they would have had some more potent reads.

They almost remind me of Maniac in terms of what's being delivered. To drop the vote early in D2 then avoid much of the conversation around it...I don't think that looks good. Town argues over the vote.
