What I do not like about your vote for ghug is that you are taking your vote off of Hamilton when you finally have him as a real wagon. If you had a strong scum read of Hamilton before he helped save teacon by voting for ND at EOD, I would think you would be pushing Hamilton hard for the DK today.

No, I voted for you before I saw that you had changed your vote to ghug (even though it happened 5 minutes earlier). Hamilton's D1 EOD vote does not look good, so if you are scum, I would not be surprised if you were bussing Hamilton.

It looks like you were avoiding voting for ND or teacon, and as scum you would not want to appear to be saving teacon and you would not want teacon to be the DK.

1. Okay, compare that to Town!Balki’s explanation. Do you think a credible reason for me switching back to HB might be that I thought he was most likely to flip scum, and I didn’t feel very strongly about teacon, and then I decided, “well, better to make my vote count”...
2. If I wanted to avoid voting for ND or teacon...I could have simply not voted for ND or teacon, right?

1. Sure, that is credible, but it is not really what you said earlier when you seemed to imply that you thought you still had a chance of getting Hamilton DKed.

2. I said as scum you would want to avoid making a tie breaking vote between ND or teacon, that is different than getting your vote on a scum teammate without getting him DKed.

@Bozo, I need you to spell this out in as much detail as you can please.

My voting pattern, as I recall:

- Early voter for Hamilton Brian.
- switched to Bunny for a few minutes after kgray asked for a wagon to develop there.
- When the Bunny thing went nowhere, I moved back to Hamilton Brian, my only scumread of the day.
- And then to teacon with about 1 minute to go when it was clear that ND or teacon would be voted out.

So, what is suspicious and why?

I think it was clear that ND or teacon would be voted out at 4 minutes when you voted for Hamilton, or at least ND, teacon, or Maniac, and that there was no chance of getting Hamilton voted out. ND and teacon were tied at 5 when you voted for Hamilton, so you had the opportunity to place a tie breaking vote, and you passed on that opportunity.

I don’t know man. Votes don’t really happen like that with perfect information about what all the vote counts are. And, even if I knew what all the vote counts were at all times, I didn’t know teacon’s alignment or ND’s alignment, so ya know...

I guess you could say that I had the opportunity to break a tie between ND and teacon just like everyone else who was online had that opportunity. What did I do? I opened a new tab, checked the peterbot for a vote count, came back to the thread, refreshed, tried to skim some late posts, typed in “vote teacon” and submitted.

So, yeah, I came to learn that I had an opportunity to cast an important vote. And I voted for scum.

Go ahead and Null me if you think it is possible it was all a crafty plan and Scum!Balki believed that putting his teammate one vote away from a Day 1 Kill would have no negative consequences, but to suggest that this move makes it more likely that I am scum than town is just as illogical as it is inaccurate.

I'm saying that since you're getting heat for not analyzing teacon's flip, I think the scum instinct would be to defend yourself by pointing out that the person you're questioning didn't vote for that scum in a close EOD. So I think you not doing that is towny.

I realize that town do suspicious-looking things all of the time, but I still think suspicious-looking things should be questioned. However, Balki seems to be saying that his voted should not be considered suspicious.

I think Vecna staying off of the top wagons D1 could be scum indicative, especially since he tried to dissuade teacon votes without putting his own vote on a counter wagon.

Hang on, I'm catching up. Instinctively I feel like it makes Hamilton and brain look worse (probably makes me look worse too, and I'm not looking forward to bozo's inevitable but useless tunneling me), and it makes bozo, Bunny and maybe damo look better.

I’m back, but lost my childcare for 1-2 weeks. The landlord took 3 tries to fix the leak and seems to be holding now. At least he wore a mask unlike my ADHD MIL who can’t realize that it isn’t just her decision to voluntarily go to visit a hospital during covid if she doesn't then quarantine afterwards. And my wife is of course upset about every aspect of this, so you guys get to hear about my POS MIL because I can't bring it up a home. I'm honestly thinking the old country had i right with "dead to me" after someone continually fails you and in bigger and bigger ways (from poisoning my kid with his known allergens to exposing my immunocompromised self and parents o covid). So I doubt I can put in my normal effort. But maybe that'll be good for town by subtracting aa negative while I am forced o play a different way.

This is one post after being spokeswoman for Vecna with "why you think that about teacon?" Where her post was dismissive 'just this...' Would not be first game she was involved in railroading me while I was away at EOD (last time somone falsely claimd my PR and I couldn' CC)

That said, she was town that gam. So...this is probably tawn!kgray. Scum!kgray doesn't pick fights with me (she didn't even do it last game when we were both scum and I was expecting her to try and look like this game when we're probably both town).

1) She was responding, which she'd likely do in any alignment. I'm reminded of a friend growing up where the worst thing you could do to him was agree, because he wanted to argue and get a last word in.
