It actually moved it towards scummier side for me sadly. ND knows very well his wagon wont be a "goldmine of information". Not any more than any normal wagon on D1. There being pissed off town votes on it actually strongly reduces the information. He truely doesnt care about the pressure Vash thing just because he skated to the endgame by lurking once upon a blue moon (we've all done that).

Also he blatantly kicked against the logic of it being a gambit to attract kills, saying he plays like this every game. Which is blatantly false, because all his games use different shades of playstyles. He has had plenty of games where he barely insults anyone, but just makes snide comments to show people his displeasure. This playstyle was done intentionally, and the mark is moving more towards scum wifom for me.

And before anyone asks: ND is a way more competent scum player than you guys currently imagine if he puts his mind to it. He is easily on Kgray's level.

Skimming up to this point, what I've summarised is:

1) There's this whole oddly transparent veneer of sexism coating the whole "hurr durr who toxic" shit, ND's being a bitch, Durga is being dick in response, the responses to them compared to say, shit talk between bb and Jamie is totally different. Bleh. That and how the expectations of players are different, but not going to there at this moment.

He seems to be doing far more shitposting than normal, and I'm struggling to think of a single opinion he's actually given - Instead he's alternated between weird buddying of Neph, pure shitpost, and making strange hedgey defences to cast doubt on other people's thoughts without giving any of his own. Usually I find emc to be quite townie, and I ain't getting that feeling at all this game.

I had to go back a few games to find a game he hadn't subbed into, but if you read his D1 in M57 and compare it to this game I find the difference to be extremely stark, actually.

I have been a little irked on occasion, but that happens more in every game because I still haven't seen him as scum.

Because when I think people are making strong efforts to play entirely different, like limiting their post counts and trying to be as concise as possible and not engage in banter with other people as much as they have in the past, I don’t think their prior behaviors/posts should be mentioned on a way to towncred.

Yeah, there totally is a difference. Using a similar entrance doesn't affect the rest of his game at all. Limiting his posts might, or watching instead of pushing his own reads definitely would. But I don't see how you can think he can't be both trying to improve his hunting game and also sticking with a NAI comment he likes to make at the beginning of the game. I'm not saying that entrance makes him towny, I'm questioning why you think it's contrary to him trying to change.

The contrary is he was using his entrance style as a means to say ‘hey, I am not scum because you could see that in the past when I was scum, I did this and I didn’t do that this time.’

If someone is actively trying to change their gameplay methods, making that statement is worthless and trying to buy town credit with a maxed out Visa.

He was not using it as an argument to prove his towniness. He could have replaced "townsfolk" or "townspeople" with "communists". That's ridiculous.

I've demonstrated that I respond to questions not addressed to me enough at this point that I'm surprised you're still finding issue with it. I don't see how I responded as if Flum had said something slightly different. I said I thought she would fake a towntell as town. Then I said I do that too. Then I critiqued Flum's claim that it was definitely fake.
