It isn't critical honestly - no real crazy mechanics to speak of, just some rule changes here and there.

Basil Hayden Rye is a motherfucking godsend and is a GREAT alcohol to make old-fashions with. Also, it's my typical go-to when I smoke cigars to drink with a couple rocks and a splash of water to take the edge off a little - shit is money!

Not much of a scotch fan otherwise, I stick in my lane of whiskey and bourbons pretty heavily. I am not much of a snob though, Jack Daniels does me just right and the Kirkland Signature bullshit is always good for mixing.

Scotch is the best of the whiskey family.
