I somehow outted my own teams secret flavor. it was a mistake where I was desperate trying to get town to mass claim so we could get a double kill off

I was on the Mafia team with you in that game. What you actually happened was this: The game had an odd mechanic, created by GM Squigs, which meant that everyone was randomly allocated into pairs, and each pair had its own little neighbourhood QT. Some of these were Town-Town pairs, some were Town-Scum pairs, and it was possible a Scum-Scum pair could have been randed, but that didn't happen.

There was also a mechanic which I think allowed the scum to attempt a double-kill, but this had to hit *both* members of a Town-Town pair. If scum guessed right, this would achieve two kills in one - but guessing wrong (i.e. picking two townies who were not a pair) meant no kill at all.

When it was down to just you and me as scum, I had posted a list of the potential pairs still alive, so that we could work out if it was worth taking a double-shot. For some reason, you cut-and-pasted this list into the game thread. It was really obvious that this was pasted from the scum QT and we had to concede the game.

If you roll scum with me again this time, please don't do anything like this.

Technically the part that made me call it the 'most pathetic scum performance ever' was the fact that brainbomb's scumslip had followed hot on the heels of flash slipping the day before when he fell into my trap card and claimed he had a report that he couldn't possibly have, after Donny had given up halfway through a day when under pressure, and you yourself had subbed in for Chaqa who seemed to basically give up after he made a blatant (and unsuccessful) attempt to stop another scum dying at EoD1 by voting his top townread...

I don't think there was anyone individually to blame, it was just such a constant stream of disasters that I've never seen before and I doubt I will ever see again

I am really not very opinioned on it at this point. I saw a signup and came back to play a game, mostly I have so many good memories of really exciting games on here. It certainly is a fun time.

have any of you jumped into the new phenomenon that is “Among us”? I hear its basically a trendy new mafia game thats a free app. Even famous people like AOC play it.

My favorite game was the time Tom bombadil faked cop and claimed guiltiest on my top two scumreads, and I was Desperado, and shot them, and then another scum. It wasn't a good game, necessarily... But a good day

But I'm not doing anything overly weird with the setup; my hope is that people can pick it up and play and have everything work as they expect.
