Interesting thought.
I guess we'll see how it goes in the morning.

I think bunny was the recruit. He set the stage pregame for scumlurking.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
I think the likliest recruit is from bunny, kgray, rdr and Vecna although I'm reasonably convinced Vecna is town unless he's playing a blinder.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 3:08 pmI think bunny was the recruit. He set the stage pregame for scumlurking.
You, dargo, are not impossible either tbf.
It's not me and without being disrespectful I doubt it's Chaqa Jamie Macca or Seth.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
It just means that I think I know your role. It's not really important, but it's definitely not a scumslip as Chaqa tried to imply.

Is it just me or does this heavily imply that Rivera knew the double vote would end up on me...?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 1:35 amI just saw now that if I didn'tmove we would have killed Kgray. I tought it was a tie but I didn't count Flum. I just want to throw myself out of the window, this is the worst game I played in a long time.

It's just you. In the bot with me moving to Ghug it was 6 x 4, enough to avoid any double vote shenanigans. But I forgot Flum.kgray wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 4:09 pmIs it just me or does this heavily imply that Rivera knew the double vote would end up on me...?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 1:35 amI just saw now that if I didn'tmove we would have killed Kgray. We vote kgray and do VCA and we can catch the rest of them
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
We already know that yours is the most dangerous to town. You do realize this, yes?dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 5:27 amOur gut feelings have not gotten us anywhere. What if we mass claim, and daykill the most dangerous to town role?
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
I think before we do it, we should (as a group) sit down and construct the likely scum scenarios.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 5:28 amWhat do you think of a mass-claim? Particularly as I am suggesting?
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
He only sees me as scummy because I've been pushing him...it is mostly OMGUS.Macca573 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 1:52 pmFair.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 1:50 pmNope. I don't see it. Especially because of chaqa's relentless push, whom I now see as Scummy McScummipants.
I don't see bunny as much scummy as before, but we can definitely still focus those other three.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
This is pretty stupid as stated. What you really mean to say is:dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 2:16 pmNot in isolation.
But our 'gut feeling' primacy has not been effective.
I hope adding the element of known roles would help.
Scum will be trying to pick off the roles THEY find most dangerous. (again, not in isolation.)
In this game, where roles are NAI... maybe town should do the same thing.
Let's reconstruct what possibilities scum could have thought about purchasing at game start based on what we know they didn't purchase.
You're phrasing it this way because fruit vendor is the most likely roll left that they purchased. It's an unlimited strongman for negative cost...
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Yes. I did that through the magic of not being in the game. I substituted in about 2 hours before end of pregame. Brilliant post. Really subtle.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 3:08 pmI think bunny was the recruit. He set the stage pregame for scumlurking.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
This is probably true. I could see Jamie as a possible recruit.damo666 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 3:20 pmI think the likliest recruit is from bunny, kgray, rdr and Vecna although I'm reasonably convinced Vecna is town unless he's playing a blinder.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 3:08 pmI think bunny was the recruit. Remember though, I was actually Durga. They'd have had to switch to me with 2 hours left. That said, Durga is a good recruit too.
I doubt dargo as a recruit based on being fruit vendor.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
I was wondering that too.kgray wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 4:09 pmIs it just me or does this heavily imply that Rivera knew the double vote would end up on me...?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 1:35 amI just saw now that if I didn'tmove we would have killed Kgray. I left you because I didn't know where the doublevote was and didn't want a tie after rdr jumped. My not voting ghug was my small protest vote to the absurdity of what was happening.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
That said, it would mean rdr and double vote are scum (and had daychat or a code to know where the vote is)...not impossible. Would also explain why rdr didn't think of the way to clear himself.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 6:26 pmI was wondering that too.kgray wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 4:09 pmIs it just me or does this heavily imply that Rivera knew the double vote would end up on me...?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 1:35 amI just saw now that if I didn'tmove we would have killed Kgray.
