it doesnt protect shit. It just counts as protective for how I see it with my voyeurism loldamo666 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:17 pmFV is protective. Read FH.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:15 pmdid i miss something about how the FV works?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:01 pm
It's true, it isn't AI. I'm still stuck on you for your posts when sugar lows affected your mental state. I probably need a reset there.
It wasn't JUST that you're fruit vendor. It was that you were fruit vendor asking for double voter to claim while saying "our doctors can protect him." It was as if you completely forgot the one application of your role (just after you posted you HAD an idea how to play your role).

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
I'll rethink that for tonight, if i live through the day. I was convinced (hmmm... .by Jamie and kgray) to NOT send fruit.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:23 pmEhm......what?dargorygel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:14 pmI did describe that. My "use plan" was to use the FV to send out fruit to my top townreads... and if/when they eventually townread me, I could be confirmed. This was NOT a 'wow what a great plan' idea. I just couldn't figure out what to do with it. I expected that only scum would announce they got a fruit. Mostly, now in retrospect, because of the way I saw my use of fruit. SO when I sent my fruit to my top towhnread, and he ANNOUNCED it... i had to go back and read him. I still didn't see scum in him. AND the reasons that he (and others) gave about the use of my FV made some sense. But with some hesitation I sent fruit again.... to my top town read. And THIS person acted Like I had hinted/stated was my expectation (silence... but with a subtle hint) But having hinted/stated, I wasn't sure how to read it. Fruit Vendor meet Wifom. The room seemed to think I should not muddy the movement-waters at night with fruit, so I did not send it N3.
You need to keep sending fruit every single night. To a strong townread preferably.
It helps any potential trackers that we do have narrow down scum. If you cannot be the one doing scum actions, it lowers the pool of people that can.
Ergo, sending fruit is pro-town
Trackers shouldnt be on you regardless

It negates FH. That's useful to scum.dargorygel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:22 pmSo why would they choose it at all? I noted that they FV can't do anything BUT FV... so it just LIMITS them?Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:20 pmYou probably are misunderstanding the FV action. It does nothing beside just sent some flavourtext to a person, it has the potential to be flagged by my role, and it prevents scum from doing both fruit'ing and faction-action in the same night.
Its just a negative utility role for scum if it gets down to 1 person

I think he's town and his catchup was towndargorygel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:24 pmConsidering moving to bunny.
Could he have been sent in like the cavalry to ease pressure of the wagons?
The fact both Bunny and Damo seem to think the FV actually is a protective role is either dumbtelling (unlikely) or they just werent on that scum chat when the role was discussed.
It is a pretty bad role for scum to pick, and I dont think they would ever.
Much better shit to nab for free or bonus points.

So if I negate the FH... should I then NOT give fruit to my top townread, in case they need to be FHed?

This discussion has made Bunny's assumption make a bit more sense to me. But only a BIT (glaring down my tunnel at Bunny)
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
If you think Jamie is town don't send fruit to him. If we have both FH then there is a slight risk in sending fruit but very slight. The NK, FH2 and FV targets would need to be coincident. Unlikely.dargorygel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:29 pmSo if I negate the FH... should I then NOT give fruit to my top townread, in case they need to be FHed?

Recruit
LH1
LH2
Diarist
White flag
Wouldve been so good with a competent team
Its that im townreading Jamiet strongly, else the way theyve been nightkilling people to make us believe the FH's are town wouldve been a pretty great strategy.

Your role is effectively an unlimited strongman that can kill anything except the commuter.
Downside being ofcourse that if its used that way you instantly die in a massclaim
