I mightve actually been wrong about Rdrivera. So little he says resonates this game. The only standout thing he's done has been to be upset about HR, but he'd probably do that as scum as well since its such an easy stance.
I can say the same about you. If you are really town and voted HR I will be disappointed.
And now that Chaqa start to get some traction you start to defend him. I can't see a universe were both Chaqa and Ghug are town.
As someone that always love to see logic in peoples playstyles, do you think Chaqa would attack a town Kgray in the way he has as scum?
Considering that Kgray was pushing him and that a lot of players were showing some concerns about her I do believe scum could try to push her kill. After all it worked with HR yesterday.

@Vecna, what possessed you to make your little semiclaim?

@@Flum, top few scumreads, five Jamie votes, top few townreads, five Jamie votes, please.

@kgray, wouldn't I be giving Chaqa more cover for an action if I told him not to sheep you?

@bo you're actually the worst
No? He said he would only change it if you agree that he should. So if you don't tell him to, he has cover to stay there. He didn't say he would definitely move it if you told him to, so in that case he'd have no cover to either stay there or move off. He'd have to make another decision.

The fact that this doesn't bother you is extremely suspicious to me.
It doesn't not bother me. Chaqa should be making his own decisions.

The only two options he's given me are "allow me to keep voting kgray" or "force me to stop voting kgray", and I don't want him to stop voting kgray, so I'm somewhere between not playing his game and living with it for a little while.

He is voting a scumread right now. It's not like he's sheeping us to avoid credit for the vote, he's giving us the opportunity to tell him to find someone else.

I also realize that faking this would be a fantastic tactic to avoid responsibility for crazy darg stuff. If that is what anyone thinks, I get it.
Personally, I do not for a second believe you would be faking that.

@darg, I'm not sure you should be sending fruit to your townreads. It could mess with the faith healers.

Why wouldn't he? People have already been giving vague scumreads of me, including confirmed town HR, you, and ghug. Why wouldn't scum!Chaqa join in? He doesn't even need a reason other than "vibes" since that's all anyone has given.

Those aren't his options, they're exactly the opposite. By not telling him to switch, you "force" him to stay there. You're making that choice for him. If you do tell him to switch, you're "allowing" him to do whatever he wants.

"This vote is unlikely to change. I will only change it if all three of ghug, bo_sox, and Jamiet agree I should"

This reads the other way to me.

He has my blessing if he would like to move, but I'm also fine with him keeping it there.

Fine, it doesn't matter. I just don't want him to be able to say he kept it there because all three of you didn't say he should move it and avoid otherwise participating in today's vote.

My bo post from last night:
ghug wrote:

I just reread bo's day 2 in isolation. He posted 47 times. Here are all the concrete opinions he gives on people:
  • "Yep, HB is town. Happy day."
  • A series of very hedgey posts on Jamie (he says overexplaininess isn't scum indicative, and he says he doesn't feel forced and then points out a post that contradicts that, so I'll count it as something even if it's barely anything.)
  • "I was thinking similarly about Maniac. He joke-voted for Jamie, then joke-voted rdrivera 24 hours into the game, and then joke-voted me shortly thereafter. What I mean to say is that while some of us waited on our role PMs to really start taking things seriously, he waited for his role PM and then kept not taking things seriously. It was weird."
  • "On one hand, I'd expect town ghug to play better, less jumping at shadows and more focused on effective gameplay even if the answers aren't immediately apparent. On the other hand, I'd expect scum ghug to play better, controlling the narrative from a distance and allowing the town to manipulate one another with some subtle nudging in the direction he wants them to go. Here I see neither.

Ghug, are you town playing badly? I never thought I'd see the day."
  • "##VOTE Maniac"
  • "I am quite confident that HR is town, yes. Thank you for stating the obvious."
That's townreads on HB and HR, a scumread on Maniac, and hedged reads on me and Jamie. Everything else is asking people questions and then never drawing conclusions from them. Town bo would have more reads.
He hastily concluded HR was innocent while we awaited his flip and was all ready with a caae on Maniac when he did. He said he'd open on Maniac and then dropped a naked vote on Seth instead. He's still not offering opinions on more people.

@ghug, sub-optimal or not. It's the only game in town. Town will make it's own mind up about you trying to scupper it.

This is largely a reaction test for you, bo, Jamiet, and kgray anyway. And everyone has acted as I expected except bo.

O still think kgray is scummy.
