Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
The members of the wagor, or voting teacon? I can see why teacon is causing concern for them. Even though I currently townlean.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:49 pmThe three people on the Teacon7 wagon have been sitting there for a long time, with no further movement. Since then Teacon has answered the questions that were put to him.
That wagon concerns me.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
I'm not sure how much I agree with your first point, because that seems like something Jamie would do as either alignment (or more likely as town, even) and I am not convinced that point 2 is alignment indicative.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:08 pmIt's day one, and guak always said that if I'm ever right day one, I'm scum (see last game), but he's giving me far and away the strongest scum vibes.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:04 pmHow sure you are about Jamiet? I am tempted to join his wagon and push Teacon next.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:52 pm
Vecna's been gone, as you pointed out yourself and defended him for. rd has an well. Both of these are typical. What questions has teacon adequately answered?
You're doing the thing scum HR does where you cast vague aspersions on a wagon as if it's not made up of discrete voters.
- Opportunistically tried to push a ghug/Flum day.
- Spent more time trolling me than being pissed off at me.
- Making arguments about wagons instead of the people on them.
- Not actively pushing *for* someone, which is odd.
But, I do think your last two arguments are valid. When I have seen town!Jamie on the block, he has fought harder to survive and has been much easier to read under pressure. Him disappearing now is really odd.

Why is Vecna gone? He sh**posted massively for 24 hours and then disappeared?ghug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:52 pmVecna's been gone, as you pointed out yourself and defended him for. rd has an well. You think Jamie was looking deeply into the teacon wagon? What makes you think that?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:25 pmBut what do you mean "weird push" on the teacon wagon? I'm not sure I saw it as weird. Questioning, maybe looking deeply in it. Do you think they were drawing attention to it to perhaps push more people over to it?

Why are you not asking @Jamie too? This stinks.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:12 pm@Flum and @teacon...knowing that D1s are usually a crapshoot.
Why do you feel you should not be eliminated today?

Consider it an unfortunate case of Brian-speak. They named the wagon, identified who was on it, remarking how long, etc. THat's it.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:28 pmYou think Jamie was looking deeply into the teacon wagon? @Jamie, anything more compelling than, "don't daykill me?"

WHY DID YOU VOTE TO END on Jamie when you first voted him?!Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:33 pmI was getting to it, Bunny. I think scum would pick the PV as a way to hide a "likely to be fearkilled" candidate. rivera fits that description, he's even said as much:
Again, here he is thinking about what would happen if a mafia member is in the "likely NK" category:rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 12:48 am%%vote Durga, let's kill her D1 so I can survive past N1.
He seems to see the PV role differently than I do. I think the PV would be a great place for a person who us usually NK'd early to hide when they're scum. It explains why they're still alive ... what scumteam nk's the vanilla?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 12:37 amI was giving a second thought and I would have considered the Public Vanilla instead of the Fruit Vendor if scum have someone that isn't a likely NK.
I have really longhand probability math on it that I didn't post because no one cares for longhand math.
related to rdriv, but not the PV question, was him looking uncharacteristically angry in this post. I don't remember him using foul language, but i haven't played in a while. why is he angry?
rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 9:51 pmRead the fucking setup.
Or we are both scum and you are really bussing me?

Not sure you were around...probably hadn't subbed Durga yet...but it was all under the Hammer the First 24 Hours plan that Jamie proposed.

Teacon, you seem a nice guy. But I'm starting to get the headache I think others get when reading my writing. Can you give me a 3 sentence tldr;?

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
You can always argue that they're hunting for something or someone in particular and it's not you. You don't have to take a powerless role in order to get suspicion off. Besides, rdrivera is not always a fearkill early. His N1 death last game was not a fearkill, if I remember correctly.teacon7 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:35 pmHe seems to see the PV role differently than I do.
