If for some reason the mafia didn't want to freely stop the town from having an unkillable voice, the restless spirit should just pledge their vote to the stump if they die.
I don't see mafia taking restless spirit over recruiting a mafia member.

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
yeah. I just want to figure out who the stump is because they're probably scum. If there's a better way to figure that out, I'm listening.
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
I mean I’m no expert on the details of mass claims. I also don’t see why it is so likely the stump is scum? Aren’t there a couple other roles close in cost that would be more useful to scum?Fluminator wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:11 amyeah. Two separate thingsseth24c wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 5:25 amYou’re saying it’s good for town that people weren’t talking? Sorry I’m late catching up.ghug wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 9:23 pmThis is fair but nobody wanted to play with me for the first 24 hours so I got bored.Fluminator wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 9:21 pm##Vote ghug
town ghug likes pretending to be useless at the start and pretends to never read the opening post.
If I were mafia, I'd be whining about this privately because it's likely good for town.
Read setup out of boredom
No reveal helps town

The worst part is I did even read my role PM because I thought it was late and was catching up.
Not clear him for vanilla
Lest scum nightkill him

Bunny, I like the cut of your jib so far in this game.
What aspect of this one post
Tickles your fancy?
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Thanks ghug. I kinda like the hiaku’ing ghug. Somehow I think you may be easier to read that way.

Now that I am townManiac wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 6:36 amI think Ghug is becoming my top scum read. He’s doing something/not doing something that I’m suspicious of. I want to see if he continues to do/not do it for a bit longer before I vote for him.
I'm pleased to see signs of life
You so lacked last game

I hadn’t seen anything from bunny that I particularly liked so it was interesting that HB had.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:31 amWhy keep this in mind?seth24c wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 6:29 amHmm... Interestering
I too like BunnyGo's jib
Seems to want nothing
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
I think flum is saying that scum would have been very likely to have the stump as one of their roles because otherwise they would have an unkillable voice and vote since they probably chose to recruit instead of use their money on the more expensive roles like restless spirit.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:35 amI follow the restFluminator wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:10 amIf for some reason the mafia didn't want to freely stop the town from having an unkillable voice, the restless spirit should just pledge their vote to the stump if they die.

Still a null for me. I’ve been wrong on bunny a couple times now so definitely not jumping on anything yet.

I do understand. But why
Pledge town vote to town?
Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Maybe so the vote can have a voice? I guess I don’t understand that part either lol.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:46 amThat is the part thatseth24c wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:40 amI think flum is saying that scum would have been very likely to have the stump as one of their roles because otherwise they would have an unkillable voice and vote since they probably chose to recruit instead of use their money on the more expensive roles like restless spirit.

Why would we want to kill the treestump? It has less effect than other targets. And if it's because we know roles, I would think there would be others that the scum more likely have.Fluminator wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:04 amI think we should massclaim and speedkill the treestump.
I haven't read all the roles super closely yet but some we could lump together a specific number as "important" and some could claim that so we don't give away our precise good ones.

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
Which ones? Do you think scum will pass the chance to recruit? I am starting to suspect this "I don't understand the setup" act you are doingMacca573 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 9:45 amWhy would we want to kill the treestump? It has less effect than other targets. I totally agree that Tree Stump is the most obvious choice to scum if they recruited, but I don't think it's worth to massclaim to prove this theory. Just have it in mind for later.

Re: M61 - The Mastermind's Revenge - Game Thread
If both are town and both are dead you can have a town clear that is unkillable. Pretty usefull to end game. But I think the chance scum passed the Tree Stump role is minimal.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:46 amThat is the part thatseth24c wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 7:40 amI think flum is saying that scum would have been very likely to have the stump as one of their roles because otherwise they would have an unkillable voice and vote since they probably chose to recruit instead of use their money on the more expensive roles like restless spirit.
