No... ghug would NEVER be so obviously fake subtle as to pretend to be town hoping not to be recruited, so that WHEN ghug acts all scummy, we would assume that he was NOT really recruited, so that he could get away with it. No, there is a specific role called "Public Vanilla", whose vanilla status (but not alignment, they could be a Goon) is publicly declared in the thread by the GM. Read the setup - you approved it.
