@Bunny - have you read the rules yet? That's likely more important than reading all the haikus.
I have. They didn’t make sense. I read the linked wiki. That didn’t help.
Hi Bunny,

A summary of this unusual setup:

- Everyone starts as just "Town" or "Mafia" with no powers or role name.

- The Mafia start the game with a budget, a credit balance if you will.

- During the first 24 hours, the Mafia can spend some (or indeed all) of their credits to pick which roles will be on their team.

- After the first 24 hours has elapsed (which is in just over an hour from now), those roles are randomly distributed among the Mafia team, and all of the town players are randomly assigned roles from the remainder of the list, i.e. the roles the scum did not pick.

- The Mafia may use their remaining credits later in the game to get extra roleblocks and other stuff, as described in the setup rules.

- The Mafia can even get into debt by over-spending. However, if they reach a point where they would normally win (i.e. they're the majority of players left, etc), they immediately lose if they are still in debt.

- The Mafia can also get new credits, or get out of debt, by choosing to have stuff happen which makes it harder for them to win, i.e. giving town extra powers etc.

Regarding the regulation on pizza, the π rule seems more apropos. It's a pizza π!

It's actually just over two hours from now.

Your EoDs will be confusing this week because y'all go off daylight savings a week before we do.

The Bot says there's just under 25 hours remaining. Is it wrong?

Trust Tells/Honest Meta don't really work on this site because we don't play games with a high enough frequency

How do they work normally? Doesn't it just make it impossible for scum to ever win?

tbh, I don't get why they work at all. It's like adding the word "Honestly..." in front of your sentences. Adding pizza to the deal is like upping the ante for a bluff. It adds out-of-game consequences, but in the end, people could still lie, and meta gets formed by it.

The pizza thing worked in the past here because many people did it and all of them were town. There are some people who'd likely willingly do it as scum, but they don't do it to begin with because everyone knows they'd do it.
