I choose to assume
The GM knows if that's true
But not you, Jamie

While Vecna is right
Blind carbon copy should be
The norm we all use

The statement about me
Is not necessarily normal
And needs clarified

I have decided that my persona for this game will be Ice-T, primarily in his guise as the frontman of the excellent rap metal band, Body Count.

For anyone not familiar with Body Count, you should be:

True fact; I used to own the 12” remix of Colors by Ice-T.

Not sure what all I’ve read. I guess we’re waiting on something? 5pm EST?

Cool thing to have.

Well, we could also talk about why your vote is still on me?

(Note the word "still". I know why you voted for me before.)

It's an easy enough vote to rescind when the time comes. For the meantime I can't concentrate. I've been redeployed to another school to cover a kindergarten class. Not my wheelhouse.

I see BCC's got accepted despite how incredibly easy to break they are

Are you saying you credit the "slip" from earlier, or just coming out against BCC's?

Also, @anyone, what's the deal with BCC's from last game? Can someone summarize for me the argument against the practice?

I'm just coming out against them in general. As for why they're easy to break: I just wait until I have a scumread (some time before the 24 hour mark), and then I ask them to tell me the exact minute their role PM arrived, and I get a 100% clear or 100% confirmed scum. Which I shall post now so that GM's can pre-emptively ban this, seeing as it's not actually in the rules.

(I did recommend this get added to the rules when BCC's first came up last game, but alas)

Hunh. Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Even if asking for timestamps only got you one clear (i.e., the first townie to confirm, as scum would just avoid the question), that's using a mechanic that isn't really in play, and breaks the game.

@Maniac

I think you work for Hansard. Am I right?
Yeah, it’s boring. Apart from when we purposefully leave out the odd ‘not’ to change the entire meaning of what was said. We only do it to keep people on their toes. Most get through which proves no one reads it. One of the lads is a descendant of Martin Lucas who published the wicked bible, and old habits die hard.

Of course, and as this is a site where people constantly try and break the games (so much so that we're not 24 hours in and it's already been tried in this one), there really should be a rule against it.

Though if a mafia player just never posted again after being asked that question, it'd be just as damning as them not knowing the answer ;)

I was actually going to say “I’ve read My alignment PM” but it was too many syllables. My bad for following poetry rules.
