That's very interesting.

My PM was the exact same PM as was sent to a number of other people at the same time, and it contained a line which made this explicitly clear.

You do receive some interesting correspondence, Maniac.
The Jamie attempts
An awkward townslip. Alas
Nobody buys it
ok, the game is ruined again now

ghug literally scumslipped. jamiet used the bcc shit to townclear him

%%call gm can you confirm whether scum received that exact same PM? Because else you can restart the game and not fuck that shit up
Vecna wrote:

funny part is the gm probably included the exact bcc line for the scum pm, but whatever, having even a situation where that becomes the main discussion point does not make for a fun game of mafia
1) maniac: If maniac had read the PM (and/or the setup), he would know that it wasn't a role PM. If he hadn't, he wouldn't know what to call it, and fall back on the default term "role pm". Since Maniac just got elected to parliament, I'm guessing he didn't have time to read either of these.

2) jamie: Jamie sees it as a slip because D1 shennanigans and ridiculous scrutiny is pretty consistient with jamie.

3) alchohol-ghug calls jamie's nitpicking an artificial townslip. Seems consistent with the rest of his antagonistic tone in that time block. If scum had their pm's sent directly (not bcc'd), they might not be aware that the town-pm was bcc'd, hence this is only a slip from ghug if scum didn't get the messages bcc'd, AND ghug was really drunk enough to talk about alignment indicative mechanics that early. @scum - Can any of you confirm whether your pm's were bcc'd or sent directly?

4) Talking about PM's: not my idea of solvey (or enjoyable) play. But I don't think we need to restart unless GM's say so.

Can we even vote yet?
This is a decent question.
##CALLGM: Can we get a VC?
##ALSOGM: Can we consider the bot reliable for VC's this game?
Vote Count 1.0
Jamiet99uk (3) ghug, Hamilton Brian, Maniac
Durga (2) Fluminator, rdrivera2005
dargorygel (2) teacon7, damo666
Maniac (1) Jamiet99uk
Fluminator (1) kgray
Hellenic Riot (1) dargorygel

Currently Jamie is set to be the first loser on this reality show. There is ~30 hours left in D1 and ~6 hours left in the Mafia Pre-game phase.

In regards to the bot, is a tool, however based on the setup it will not be the final vote count every day.

Bonjour good people
I see we have changed start time
That's all very good

I've read role PM
boring boring boring eh
read set-up later

##vote Ghug
You've read your Role PM, huh?

That's odd. I haven't had a Role PM.

You must not be on the same team as me.

##VOTE MANIAC
What a weird post. One would think if you had indeed received a town role pm you'd know its very easily mistaken for a VT pm with the way its worded.
The GM did not send out any "town role pm" at the start of the game, only an Alignment PM.

I have not had a role PM yet.

Donny is totally in the scum "pre-game" QT panicking that I'm going to ruin the game for his team before it even gets going. Har har.
such a jamiet thing to do to try and hammer shit in a pre-game phase. as a GM, would you approve of people trying to break your setup entirely even if this was a possibility?

Can we even vote yet?
As a GM, people attempt to do it to me all the time. This was my turn to imitate Bozo and Xorxes. Deal with it.

GM Note:
From my perspective, the game is not compromised in any way. Scum know the exact same information that town does.
@GM did they prior to post #74 ?
I cannot answer this question because, from my perspective, you are trying to create potential clears via GM communication/information.

This is my final statement regarding this: The scum team has the exact same information as the town and the role PM addition not included on the first page did not break this game.

UGH... before anyone else bothers to point this out - NO ROLE PMS HAVE BEEN SENT. I meant to say alignment.

Yeah, I'm not gonna read those haikus. lol

Flum brings up a good point - is there any reason for wide discussion before the pre-game is done?

You don't enjoy reading, do you? I guess you were one of the sports jocks back at high school. It amazes me you ended up on a site like this at all, but I guess things changed a lot for you after the accident.

Of course there are reasons for discussion.

First of all, it gets some of the shitposting out of Ghug's system, and mine I guess.

Second of all, it may let you form an initial view on who randed town and who randed scum. You know, trying to get reads on people? Something we do in this game?

@Mafia

You're allowed to go negative. Recruit half the town as mafia. Please recruit me in this half. Easiest win ever. And for giving you this idea, I deserve to be in the winning group.

It looks like in the mafiascum version, you can "Recruit Fourth Member (-80)"
In this one you can "Recruit Additional Mafia Member (-80)"
So there's no limit.

Lol, it's fun breaking games.

I'm annoyed to know that Flum's plan might work well.

All it takes is maf recruiting all players but two.
Maf daykills the last town, doesn't lose because the SK lives for one night, then dies D2 like a tool.

::Sigh:: not again.
Kan we get another game started shortly after this? I actually wanted to play, too.

What a good townslip though. Too bad it's meaningless because I might get recruited.
