There was stuff that made me not mafia with either of bozo/summit but whenever I brought it up I was told “no that’s meaningless” or whatever, so Not sure how else I was supposed to defend myself, I’m not interested in yelling until I get listened to or whatever.

No, I meant what I'd claimed was that the bomb saved me and killed bozo, which was why I was clear. I was confirmed town but not outed as jailer. So you, HR and I were the only people who knew for sure that I was lying about being a VT, and the fact that you voted for me when you saw that claim should have tipped us off.

It's not about you defending yourself, I'm saying *I* should have gone a step farther into thinking about why you'd vote a townclear in kylo.

Yeah I went back and forth on that some, and it's why I didn't immediately confirm you as scum in my mind even though you cc'd a confirmed town. But I also really underestimated how much you guys didn't think I was the jailer. If I'd have known how hidden I was I would have at least pushed against your VT cc a lot harder.

I was definitely ready for that to maybe happen. Counterclaimimg confirmed town is so stupid on the surface that I don't know it's alignment indicative though.

They said, you probably would have settled on me given long enough because of your totally unreasonable paranoia that I'd been buddying all game.

The other stuff you can miss me with, stating an opinion ("your mafia culture is semi-toxic at times"..."this isn't really the environment I enjoy but I'll do my best to play through the game anyways, just don't expect super enthusiastic nanook"...etc)...that isn't playing the victim or whatever, it's just stating my opinion/letting my fellow players know "Hey, this is why I'm like this, incorporate it into your reads." I don't understand why my opinion engenders such a shitty response from you, if you don't like it...idk, go pick some flowers or something and remember my opinion is exactly one person's on the internet who means nothing to you /shrug

For the record I asked Maniac about this and he gave the following response:

"I know that within the last minute people may have tried to tie the vote but wouldn't be able to keep up to date with Peter's bot. Thinking on my feet, I thought self voting would throw anyone trying to count the exact score and then I'd vote EMC at the last second."

So, essentially, he was hoping there would be a tie, which he would then break at the last moment.

Unfortunately his timing was not so good.
