Massclaiming is just downright optimal given there are no duplicate roles still alive. If you don't massclaim, you can struggle on regardless, but frankly I'd rather set up a bunch of nice head to heads.

And if you don't mass claim, I'm going to vote No One and leave.

Mass claims will tell you who the town PRs are but not what scum's roles are, so the only way you can throw is to town.

Town need to eliminate scum. A massclaim is the best way to do that. And if you don't, both Flum and I will vote no one - which makes it impossible for you to eliminate Mafia. You need (whichever of us is real) to vote with you. So get claiming.
