You list maniac as your second suspect, but I called out first turn that he might have been the traitor and started the wagon on him then that almost succeeded. Why would you think that we are teammates?

I don’t see why you’re incompatible? Hunting for the traitor is a pretty valid strategy for team scum imo, gives them space to actually look for scum and appear townie without having to bus someone they can actively coordinate with, has the benefit of looking natural too since they don’t actually know the answer (at least on D1). If maniac flipped team scum I’d reevaluate then, but him flipping anything else, including lost mafia, wouldn’t really effect my read on you.

I don’t think that’s worth more to most scum teams than being able to entirely blend in
